"Hey Jaybird." I stand by her and set my sniper against the wall.

"Hey harls." She smiles through the scope.

"Listen, I have something to tell you." I start picking at my fingernails. I'm no good with these things.

"Yeah?" She shoots the last walker then turns to face me.

"Daryl proposed to me last night. If it bothers you tell me."

"That's awesome harls! Daryl is like a cool dad to me. I like him and think he is perfect for you." I smile and warp my arms around Jays shoulder.

"So I'm gonna be the maid of honor or something?" She asked as I chuckled.

"Sure." I laughed.

"Its starting to get dark. You wanna stay on gate or I can place you on a post. You can get some sleep too so you can have morning watch." I shrug my shoulders.

"I'll stay here for a few more hours then head over to Eugene's post. He's been up for a while." I nod my head.

"Sounds good. I'm gonna make some dinner for you guys." I head over to the house and make sandwiches.

I head back out and distribute the sandwiches to the people on duty. I walk back to the house and changed into a pair of shorts and one of Daryls tshirts. I laid down on the bed taking in some deep breathes. I needed this.

A few hours later I woke up to the sound of something moving around the room. I could feel the bed sinking in on the side Daryl usually sleeps on. I turn around and see Daryl trying to lay down.

"Hey." My voice came out raspy. As I reach up and rub my eyes.

"I didn't mean to wake you." His voice grumbles.

"Its alright. Didn't realize I fell asleep. How'd the run go?" I asked as he crawls into bed.

"I don't wanna talk about it." He groans.

"That bad?" I asked with a tired smile.

"It won't good but could've been worse."

"Could have." I press my lips to his.

I woke up to the birds chirping early in the morning. Daryl was sleeping right next to me with his hand over my stomach. Something caught my eye as it was moving out of the door frame. Looked like a person. I remove Daryl's hand and get out of bed to grab my knife. I hold it in a defense position and head down stairs. I look around the living room and found nothing. I turn to go into the kitchen as a person pops out.

"Wait wait wait." The person holds his hands up but I swing my knife. He blocks and kicks it out of my hand then headbutts me. I stumble back as pain spreads across my nose. I punch him in the face as he tackles me to the ground. He gets on top of me and tries to pin me down. I knee him in the groin and get up and start kicking him in his stomach. He grabs onto my leg pulling me to the ground and finally pins me. His soft blue eyes stare into mine. He gets up and runs out the door. I grab the gun sitting on the table.

"Daryl!" I yell for him. I start running out the door and follow the man to Rick's house. How the hell did he get in here? I head inside and see the guy sitting on the stairs with Carl holding a gun to his head. I point my gun at the man.

"You good?" I ask Carl.

"Yeah, I see you ran into him." He comments. I look across the room into a mirror that was hanging up. There was blood trickling down my nose. I raise my hand to wipe it away but made it worse by smearing it.

"Yeah." I sighed. Rick and Michonne come running in half naked or as Rick was only naked.

"Carl, Harley." Rick looks at us. I look back and forth from Rick and Michonne.

"Well." I whistle as Michonne tries not to look at me. Rick shakes his head.

"When's the wedding you two?" I ask.

"Harley. Not a good time right now." Rick says.

"Just asking. Get a head start and tell everyone just like you did for me." I grin. Daryl, Glenn, Maggie and Abraham coming running in.

"Its ok." Michonne tells them.

"You said we should talk. So let's talk." Rick says. Daryl grabs the guy and sits him in a chair at the kitchen table.

"He hurt you?" Daryl asked defensive.

"He was trying to protect him self from me." I grab a cloth and splash some water on it as I wipe the blood away. The cold water made me shiver slightly. I was only wearing a lose tshirt and a pair of pajama shorts. Daryl looks at me uneasy as he walks up to me. He takes the coat off he was wearing and hands it to me. I hand him the cloth as he wiped away the blood. I slip on the coat that was practically a dress on me.

"Its not broken. I'm alright." I grab his hand rubbing my thumb over his. I take the cloth back and look at the rust color. It finally stopped bleeding. I open a container of cookies Carol made and hand the guy one. After all, I'm not a complete animal.

"Thank you. I'm sorry about earlier." He says sincerely. I cut my eyes to him.

"Your a good fighter. Even without the knife. I'm surprised you held on that long. My name is Jesus." He smiles. Daryl steps up and pulls me away from this Jesus guy. Michonne, Carl, Maggie and Glenn sit at the table.

"So, how'd you get out?" Rick sits at the table.

"One guard can't cover two exits or third floor windows. Knots untie and locks get picked. Entropy comes from order, right?" Jesus says.

"Right." Daryl stand near him holding a gun as I stood in the corner between Daryl and Rick.

"I checked out your arsenal. I haven't seen anything like that in a long time.
You're well-equipped, but your provisions are low. Very low for the amount of people you have. 54?"

"More than that." Maggie says.

"Well, I appreciate the cookie. My compliments to the chef." Jesus says.

"Yeah, she ain't here." Daryl looks at the cautiously.

"Look, we got off to a bad start. But we're on the same side-- the living side. You and Rick had every reason to leave me out there, but you didn't.
I'm from a place that's a lot like this one. Part of my job is searching out other settlements to trade with. I took your truck because my community needs things, and both of you looked like trouble. I was wrong. You're good people. And this is a good place. I think our communities may be in a position to help each other." Jesus says.

"Do you have food?" Glenn asked.

"We've started to raise livestock. We scavenge, we grow. Everything from tomatoes to sorghum." Jesus states.

"Tell us why we should believe you." Rick says not believing Jesus.

"I'll show you. If we take a car, I can take you back home in a day, and you can all see for yourselves who we are and what we have to offer."

"Wait, you're looking for more settlements. You mean you're already trading with other groups?" Maggie asked.

"Your world's about to get a whole lot bigger." Jesus stands up.

"Michonne, Daryl, Harley, Maggie, Glenn and Abraham. We're going to check this place out. Anyone else is welcome to come." Rick says.
