The next morning people started getting ready for this Negan guy. A few of us take the guy that came from Hilltop to sketch out the building. Tell us what he knows about it. Found out by Jesus his name is Andy.
"Describe it." Rick asked.
"Rectangular building, big satellites on it."
"Any windows?"
"I don't remember any. I think they made it so there's only one way in." Andy tries to think.
"Guards outside?" Rick asked.
"Yeah, two of them, at least." Andy draws two x for guards.
"Take them out quietly." I point at the x's. Rick nods his head.
"And you don't know how many people they have?" Michonne asked.
"No. Uh, I mean, no. I saw a place where they stored food. It wasn't that big." Andy stumbles over his words.
"You've been inside?" Rick looks at him closely.
"Yeah. They had us load in supplies one time. Hmm."
"What do you remember?" Glenn hands him another piece of paper.
"And you didn't see any other rooms?" Maggie asked.
"No, it's a big place. This is the hallway I saw. There is more." Andy continues to draw.
"And everytime, they had you bring things into here?" Michonne ask.
"Jesus. We brought a couple spears for them. Two of the Saviors took them down this hallway. Now, they must've done something with them because they didn't come back with them. Maybe a weapons locker, an armory." Andy thinks.
"Okay. We get in there, secure the armory, that's how we end it." Glenn says.
"That's how Carol ended it here." Maggie points out.
"But we don't know if they have an armory or where it even is." Andy says.
"Well, we've got a lot of good guesses. We've done more with less." Daryl
"We go in at night while they're sleeping." Rick says.
"The guards won't be sleeping. Like I said, I think there's only one way in and there's no way to bust through that door without waking up the rest of them." Andy says.
"We don't need to. They're going to open it for us, let us walk right in.
They want Gregory's head, right? We're gonna give it to them." Rick tells us."How?" I asked studying the outline.
"Walkers, well find something close." Rick says.
We all get into the RV or drive a car toward the middle of the road. Jay and I ride in the RV. We should stop and honk their horns. Waiting for the walkers to come out. Jay and I take out our knives.
"Aaron, Rosita. You start here. We'll peel off every quarter mile, meet back here in a couple of hours. See what we got." Rick says.
"Harley they bring back a head cut the hair as close to Gregory's as possible."
"Will do." I slide the knife into my pocket. A few people went out and brought back a couple of walker heads. I wait for them to set the heads up for me as I take my knife and start cutting the hair. I trim the beards up and try to shape them the way Gregory's was.
"We're gonna take a look around, try to get a feel for how many people are in there. We like how it looks, we go in. A couple of hours before dawn. The guards outside'll be tired. Everyone inside'll be sleeping. We don't like what we see, we head back, make a new plan. They don't know who we are. We'll keep Jesus in the shadows. This is how we eat. This is how we eat. We roll out at midnight." Rick says. I step back and study them. Jesus comes up to me and sighs.
"Don't like?" I asked.
"No, you did a great job. I think the center one is pretty close." He says.
"Pretty close." Rick and Andy walks over to us.
"She's done with the hair?" Rick asked.
"Done." I said.
"What've we got?"
"That one." Jesus points to the center head.
"Yeah, that's it." Andy says.
"Alright." Rick says.
"Though, it's probably good we're doing this at night." Jesus comments.
"Something wrong with it?" Rick asked as he picks it up.
"The nose. Gregory's is a different shape." Jesus says. Rick punches the head until the nose was broken.
"He fought back. He broke your hand, right?" Rick says.
"That works." I slide the knife back in my pocket.
"Guess there's no reason to be subtle about it." Jesus raises an eyebrow.
"What?" Rick asked as they stare at him.
"The Saviors, they're scary, but those pricks got nothing on you." Andy says.
"Nah, we're worse." I shake my head and walk back over to Daryl and Jay.
"They pick a head?" Daryl asked.
"Yeah, something close." I lean against Jay as she pokes my side.
"Ow." I grab my side.
"Oh my god. That was your stab side. I'm so so so sorry." Jay freaks out.
"I'm joking. Its the other side. Its healed all the way so you don't have to worry." I laughed. Jay glares at me.
"That wasn't funny." She punches my side.
"Alright. Alright." I laughed as she smiles.
"You two play too much." Daryl scoffs.
"Or maybe you don't play enough." Jay runs up to him and hits his shoulder.
"Tag. Your it." I watch her run in the field as something hits my arm. Daryl smirks as he runs in the field with Jay.
"Oh no you don't." I take off running after them and catch up to Jay. I tag her arm as she lets out a giggle.
"Can't catch me." I turn around in the opposite direction as Jay runs after me. She runs by Daryl and tags him.
"Got you." She giggles then stands by me out of breath. Daryl runs over and catches us. He pulls us to the ground as we roll around. We lay there for a few minutes as we look up at the sky. It was getting real dark. We get up and walk over to the group.
"Lets head on. Maggie is staying back." Rick tells us.
"You should stay back too." I tell Jay as she opens her mouth to object.
"She's right. You can't come inside with us." Daryl tells her. She nods her head as I sigh.
"Y'all be careful." Jay hugs Daryl and I.
"You too. Keep an eye on Maggie." I kiss her forehead as she lets go.
"Don't worry I'm staying back too." Carol says. I nod my head at her. Jay runs over to Daryl and buries her face into his side as he hugs back.
"Alright go with them." I hug Jay one last time before Rick and the rest of us head to the building. Andy, the guy, drives up to the building as we surround it by the woods.
