We get inside Alexandria as Aidan and Nicholas follow closely behind.

"You four need new gigs. You're not ready for runs yet." Aidan yells out.

"Yeah, pretty sure you got that backwards." Glenn calls back.

"Hey. Hey. Look, we got a way of doing things around here." Aidan runs up to Glenn.

"And that's how you get killed." I mumble. Glenn jerks away from me. I let go of Tara.

"You tied up walkers." Glenn yells draw attention to us.

"It killed our friend. Look, I'm not having this conversation. You obey my orders out there." Aidan yells back.

"Then we're just as screwed as your last run crew." Glenn says. Oh no. Everyone was surrounding us.

"Say that again." Aidan steps forward pushing on Glenn's chest.

"No, back off, Aiden." Tara says.

"Come on. Come on, man. Just take a step back." Aidan pushes Glenn again.

"No one's impressed, man. Walk away." Glenn tells him.

"Aiden! What is going on?" Deanna walks up to us.

"This guy's got a problem with the way we do things. Why did you let these people in?" He looks back at Deanna.

"Because we actually know what we're doing out there." Glenn says. Aidan takes a swing at Glenn as Glenn punches him in the face. Nicholas tries to get into it but I step forward and push him back. He shoves me on the ground. I need to stop taking on people that are twice my size. Daryl runs and tackles him to the ground.

"Lay another finger on her again and I'll break your neck." Daryl says.

"Let's not do this now." Rick grabs onto Daryl. Maggie helps me up and pulls me to our group.

"You want to end up on your ass again?" Michonne asked Aidan as he gets up.

"Daryl." Rick warns him as Daryl lets go of Nicholas and walks up to me.

"You alright?" His hand rest on my cheek. I nod my head as he lets go and paces back and forth.

"I want everyone to hear me, okay? Rick and his people are part of this community now in all ways as equals.
Understood?" Deanna yells out loud enough for the whole community to hear.

"Understood." Aidan smirks.

"All of you, turn in your weapons. Then you two come talk to me." Deanna says then looks at Aidan and Nicholas.

"Can you take this for me? I need to speak with Deanna." I hand over my revolver and knife to Tara as she takes it.

"Deanna, if that is how you do the runs, then I wont be doing them. I just can't do that to walkers. They are dangerous and you can't play around with them. You kill them or be killed." I tell her.

"I understand. I'm sure gate duty will be great for you." She tells me.

"I told you I had a job for you.
I'd like you to be our constable. That's what you were. That's what you are.
And you, too. Will you accept?" Deanna asked Rick and Michonne.

"Okay." Rick says.

"Yeah, I'm in." Michonne smiles as Daryl scoffs, grabbing his crossbow and walks back to the house.

"Daryl wait!" I run after him.

I follow him all the way back to the house. He sits on the porch and throws his crossbow across the other side of the porch. I stand up right in front of him and watch his movement. He puts his head into his hands.

"I get it. Its a big change. We are going from sleeping on the road, no supplies, hunting to survive, killing walkers to having our own homes, electricity and actual people. I know this is hard for us to adjust to. But we are getting there. We're gonna be ok." Daryl gets up off the porch and presses his lips against mine. It shocked me at first then I kiss him back and pull away.

"I," He says out of breath.

"You needed it. That's alright." I smile and kiss him. He isn't good with showing affection but I'm willing to work with it and maybe teach him a thing or two. He pulls away as Jay comes running up the porch steps.

"How was exploring?" I ask her.

"It was alright. I met a few other kids they said I will be going to school with them and Carl."

"School?" I asked surprised.

"Its in a garage in the afternoons." She shrugs her shoulders.

"So, are you cool or friends with the others?" I sit down on the railing as Daryl looks over his crossbow.

"Enid isn't very nice but she is from outside too. Ron is sweet and Mikey is ok. We played video games and read comics." She says.

"That's not so bad."

"Yeah, not too bad. I'm gonna shower and maybe turn in for the night. Its getting dark and I'm not hungry for dinner." She walks up and hugs me.

"All you do is shove food down your throat. I'm surprised your not hungry for once." I chuckled lightly as she lets go and punches my arm lightly.

"Haha very funny. Night Harls, night Daryl." She walks up to Daryl and hugs him.

The most awkward situation ever. Jay and Daryl have never hugged before. He stood there completely still not sure whether to hug her back or continue what he was doing. Eventually he hugged her back.

"We'll work on that." She lets go and heads into the house. Soon everyone was coming inside the house to sleep together again.

"We good?" Rick walks out of the house to us.

"Yeah. You a cop again?" Daryl asked.

"I'm trying it on for size." Rick sighs.

"So we're staying?" Carol walks on to the porch.

"I think we can start sleeping in our own homes. Settle in." Rick says.

"If we get comfortable here, we let our guard down-- this place is gonna make us weak." Carol states.

"Its true. They don't even kill walkers. They string them up as if they will stay like that forever. They want to survive but with the rate they are going, the chances are not in their favor. This place will make us look weak. Like it rubs on us." I lean against the railing.

"Carl said that. But it's not gonna happen. We won't get weak. That's not in us anymore. We'll make it work.
And if they can't make it then we'll just take this place." Rick tells us.
