Daryl eats his dinner as I put everything away. I stretched my arms up to put away the dishes from the cabinet near him. A glass cup fell out of my hands and shatter all over the floor.
"Dammit." I muttered.
"I'll get it leave it there." Daryl says as he finishes up his soup.
"No, its okay. I got it." I pick up the bigger pieces of glass. A shard slips out of my grasp and cuts me. Daryl took notice, and moments later he was behind me. I turned to face him as he tries to rip a piece of my shirt off for a bandaid.
"Its too thin." I shake my head. Not thinking, I took both layers of shirt off. I wrap the them around my hand. Fits perfectly. Daryl stares at me unable to process what happened. His eyebrow quirked.
"We're getting married right? This was going to happen." He finally says as I blushed.
I turned around to head upstairs and put a new shirt on but Daryl grabs my arm to stop me. I kept my eyes locked with his. Half a breath later his lips were crashing into mine. My arms draped around his neck as his hands ran down my body gripping my back tightly. Our tongues continued rolling over each other. He lifted me up as my legs wrapped around his waist. I never knew this side of Daryl but it was great.
He moved across the room and sat me on the kitchen table. I pulled away slightly and take off his vest and shirt. I stare at his body. This was mine. I kissed down his jaw, feeling it clench as my lips moved across his stubble. His hands gripped my hips tightly as I made my way down his neck, ghosting my lips across his adams's apple and stopping to place a kiss on the freckle just below it. He brought my face up to meet his again, pressing his forehead to mine. His hands trail up my back as he takes my bra off flinging it across the room. His hands come back to my hips.
"You're beautiful." Daryl whispered as his hands cupped my face. His thumbs ran softly across my cheeks as he kissed me deeply again. My hands trailed down his chest and across his stomach, coming to rest at the waistband of his pants. He pulled his lips away from mine, placing a soft kiss on my shoulder before resting his forehead there.
he ghosted his lips along my neck and collarbone. He gently leaned me back until I was laying on table. When I was flat on my back Daryl raised both of my legs to rest against his body. I lifted my hips up off the table as he pulled my pants and panties off and tossed them on the floor. He rested a hand on each of my knees, holding them together for a moment as he ran us thumbs along the bend underneath. He locked eyes with me as he let my legs fall to his sides.
"You sure?" I bit my lip and nodded. I wouldn't pick anyone else. I held in a deep breath through my nose as he eased into me. He held his hips flush against my body for a moment, gritting his teeth as he felt me squeeze around him.
"Daryl." I pleaded, grinding my hips into him. He braced his hands on my thighs, snapped his hips back into me repeatedly. He interlaced our hands together. He kissed me deeply again as my body undulating underneath him. I arched my back up off the table as I felt my climax building. Another snap of his hips.
"Shit." he growled as I felt him. Then suddenly I could feel something go in me. It was warm. He was pulling me up into his chest, winding his arms tightly around me. I pressed my forehead to his again, placing another soft kiss on his lips.
"That was," I breath out. I was speechless. I didn't think Daryl would be like that.
"Great." He finished.
"Amazing." I breath out. Daryl picks me up bridal style and carries me to our room.
"So much for cleaning up the glass." I chuckled.
"I'll get it in the morning." Daryl smirks. He lays me down gently.
"Hey." I look at him as he lays beside me.
"Yeah?" He asked as he scoots closer to me and throws an arm over my stomach.
"I love you." I kiss his lips.
"Love ya too." He kisses back. Seconds later I could hear him snoring lightly. This is now my life.
The next morning I woke up shivering cold. Going to bed naked was probably a bad idea. The cool draft coming in under the door sent a shiver down my spine, along with my chattering teeth. I glance over my shoulder at Daryl. The man was practically radiating heat. Another chill had me rubbing my hands up and down on my arms. These blankets they had in the house did nothing.
"You cold?" Daryl asked. His eyes were still closed but his face seemed relaxed.
"Yeah, a little." I sighed.
"You're shivering, come here." He rasped, his voice thick with sleep.
I didn't even have time to protest before I felt a strong arm wrap around my stomach and pull me against his warm chest, I rollover to face him. His warmth spread a crossed my body.
"Better?" he asked, his breath brushing my ear as he spoke. I closed my eyes to enjoy the warmth and comfort he provided.
"Better." I whispered. This Daryl was new to me. I always knew he was caring but I never knew he'd be this gentle and soft. I liked it.
