Chapter 9: Trouble

Recap: I looked around one more time to see if I could figure it out. I looked down the street, and that's when I saw it, or should I say them...

I clenched my jaw as anger ran throughout my entire body. I texted four of my men to come as fast as they could.

I looked at Jake. "Take Natalia, Camila, and Victoria to the base."

"What? Why!?" Natalia asked.

"Hermosa [beautiful], listen to me. I need you to be somewhere where I know you'll be safe." Once Jake made his way towards them, Natalia ran to me, and wrapped her arms around me; I hugged her back.

"I am not going anywhere. What's going on, Babe?" Her head was now resting against my chest as she spoke; I ran my hand up and down her back.

I let out a sigh. "Ivan and Kevin are here." She stepped back to be able to look at me with her widened eyes.

"What!? No, I am not going anywhere. Especially now, since that's the reason you want me to leave, I'm staying." She stubbornly said.

"Natalia, just listen to me. I can't have you here where you could get hurt, I won't allow it. Just go to the base, please."

The four men I had texted finally arrived. Natalia glared at one that was making his way towards her. "Don't touch me." She said as he held his hands up in surrender.

She stepped closer to me, and brought me down by my tie, so she could whispered in my ear. "Fine, I'll go to the base, but I swear to god Fernando, you better come back alive, and with no injuries."

She let go of my tie, and I pulled her extremely close, to where her body was up against mine. I rested my hands on her lower back while looking her in the eyes. "I will, I promise." I gave her a kiss on the lips; she kissed back.

"I love you. I'll be at the base soon."

"Okay. I love you, too." She said before kissing me one last time.

She got in the car with the girls, and two men. I watched as they drove to the base.

I looked back at the guys. "You guys ready?" They all just cocked their guns back in response.

"Alright, let's go." We then made our way towards Ivan. I was trying so hard to not shoot him right there on the spot.

"Why hello, Fernando. Oh, hey, Jake. It was such a pleasure watching your brother die." Ivan said with a smirk.

"YOU SON OF A BITCH!" Jake tried running towards him, but Mateo and Alex held him back.

"You have a lot of fucking nerve showing up here." Me and Jake glared at Ivan while he had a smirk plastered on his face. Jake tried getting out of Mateo and Alex's grip, but it was no use.

"Wipe that stupid smirk off your face, before I rip it off for you."

"No need to be violent, Fernando. By the way... how's that sexy little fiancé of yours? I bet she's amazing in bed."

In one swift movement, I had my arm around his neck with my gun held up to his head. As soon as I had the gun up to his head, his men pointed their guns at me, causing my men pointed their guns back at them.
