The next morning, Adrien found himself on the train to Paris. He had already packed his things the night before.

The night he broke Chloe's heart...

He didn't tell anyone he would run, seeing that he didn't know he would run himself.

Every part of him hated himself for leaving Chloe.

Could he really have bared with her for just a little longer?

The night he broke up with her, he saw such a mature, sweet part of her that he didn't realize existed.

More or less, that's the reason he believed she definitely needed a better man. He felt that he couldn't complete the job where he could just love her and protect her without faking it.

On the train, he stared out the window as the sun slowly rose into the pink morning sky. The rays of sun kissed his cheeks as they ascended into the sky, giving him the warmth he needed.

He peeked into a kennel he carried a little to see his kitten, Plagg, as he slept peacefully.

Plagg opened one of his eyes and purred. He slowly got up and stretched his little arms, letting out a small noise when he yawned.

Adrien let out a small chuckle at his kitten. He sure was a little lazy guy, but he loved him.

Plagg outstretched his little paw from the inside of the cage to the outside, trying to reach Adrien.

Adrien put his finger close enough and Plagg bit it in the mindset that he was in desperate need of food.

"Ouch!" Adrien blurted, making a few people turn around in their seats.

When he noticed the stares he received, his face reddened, as he shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

He wished Chloe were there to tell them all to mind their own business. He did miss that about her.

She cared for Adrien; she loved him, but the feelings couldn't be returned.

Adrien hated that he couldn't feel it for her. She was such a great girl, and he saw the greatest side of her at the very last interaction he shared.

He did know that Chloe was a brat at times, but in between and deep within her, she was a sweet, understanding girl who deserved much more than he could possibly give her.

The heartbreak he saw written on her features when he broke it to her; it was an unforgettable encounter. He never thought he would be able to forget the guilt and dread he felt when he saw her emotions change so quickly.

Adrien just stared down at his lap and wondered where his life would lead him now.

He escaped from his modeling career, his home, his wife, and starting from scratch.

Would he be able to support himself? He barely had good money with him and didn't completely think everything through.

Could he pay for a hotel or boarding with the little money he carried? He didn't think the amount of money he had would suffice for all his needs.

From there on, he knew he would no longer live the fancy, spoiling life he once had. He knew things would change and he didn't know how to prepare.

His phone notification went off.

Chloe:
Hey Adrien. I hope you're okay and feel better. I know you probably have a lot going on so I won't bother you with questions. Instead, I transferred some money into your debit card. Please be safe! I'm sorry our marriage didn't work out for you ;-(
