I ONLY EVER CARED FOR... [THOMESA]

CHAPTER EIGHTEEN

The doctor looks at the body of the Subject 1A.

"We need to do this operation, very carefully." She says to the nurse on the other side of the bed. "She's already had a lot of suffering and I would like to minimize physical pain as much as we can."

She's the doctor they assigned Teresa's body to. For a good analysis it is fundamentally required for the subject to be still alive. Teresa was still breathing.

"She's a strong one, this" continued the doctor "she's grown here basically and that's toughened her up."

She put a tube in through Teresa's mouth. "I wonder if she's strong enough to survive this as well."

The nurse nodded quietly. "She'll do anything for Thomas. She always did."

"That's right. The chances are really low but we have to do this."

There was sadness in her eyes. She had seen this girl grow since when she'd been asked to work for WICKED. It seemed like yesterday for a moment.

Teresa and Thomas.

She was a doctor, but she was aware of the fact that WICKED committed a sin separating them.

They were meant to be together from the beginning.

She had seen them with her own eyes.

True love, in such a desperate time, was hard to find. But these two had had each other. WICKED had destroyed it.

She almost hated herself for being part of all of it.

Teresa started to suddenly tremble on the bed. She opened her eyes. "Thomas" was all that she said.

The nurse took a syringe and as quickly as she could she put Teresa back to sleep.

The doctor looked at Teresa.

"Begin the operation right now." she said.
