Come with me children
And watch me put away my memories
They are far too painful to watch
Come with me children
And watch as I take my memories and
Place them in the stars
Watch me store them in the moon
Come children and watch the light,
My light
Leave the eyes of the loved ones
Watch the sun die again and again each day
Only to see it reborn the next morning
Words are only letters on a page
Reality is dream from the old man
Who fell asleep during the rain
Love is just a silly little fountain
Millions of pennies go in
But only few wishes come out
Come children and watch me
My eyes
My lips
My cheeks
Have all known happiness and
Sadness
Love and loss
Come my children
Because life is right here right now
The butterfly flies and birds sing
And you are living
Come children
And watch as life unfolds before you
