I knew she was special
The moment I saw her
Chocolate hair falling over her shoulders
She turned around and smiled
At the boy in the glasses
With the big nose and dirty face
Still she smiled at me
And it lit up my insides
I knew I loved her
When I had showed her all my pain and all my scars
Still she stayed.
Her ocean eyes never left me
She didn't falter, didn't flinch
Instead she pulled up her sleeves
Showed me all her pain and all her scars
And all the happiness in the world suddenly belonged to me
I know she is the one
Because she looks at me with adoration and love
In those beautiful eyes of hers
And every time she laughs
I feel like the luckiest man in the world
Every word she writes I swear
She wrote them just for me
And I feel as if sorrow is just a myth
I am going to love her
Until my lungs give out
I will protect her and keep her happy every day of her life
Because she deserves all of that and more
Simply because she has chosen to love
The boy in the glasses
With the big nose and dirty face
And thats greatest gift I could ever hope for
