We told the Cullens everything. About how Ron left, the kidnapping, how I was a metamorphogus and an animagus... all of it.
I showed them some magic too. I showed them my hair and my eyes and my patronus, and told them that both my patronus and animagi were both tall tigers. It showed off my warrior
It was reassuring when we left, though. I was a half of the way done with insane reintroductions.
Although from what I know so far, Jacob wasn't a werewolf, and neither were Quill and Embry or Paul so I think I'm good.
I hopped out of the bed of Bella's fucked up truck. I gave Hermione the front seat since her and Bella needed to talk about something and I took the truck bed with the boys.
The horn honked and Jake ran over. "Hey guys!"
I stood and did a front handspring from the car. "I missed doing that!"
"You're reckless," Hermione smiled but rolled her eyes.
"Well duh, I turn into a tiger," I snort. "I can be reckless."
"CURLS!" I heard and saw Embry and Quill coming at me. I laughed as I took them into hugs and they spun me around.
The reason I was so close with them, is because when my mom took Bella during the divorce, my dad took me. My mom wanted us both but finances didn't allow it. The state sent me with Dad and I grew up in Forks. These boys were my best friends.
I laughed. "I missed you losers." I kissed their cheeks.
"How was school?"
"Long. I have some friends. Mione! Boys!" I called and they walked over. "Guys, this is Hermione and her boyfriend, Ron, and our friend Harry."
There was a wide mass of greetings as we all walked over to the bonfire.
"Is that-"
"MEREDITH!" Leah screamed and hugged me, nearly shooting from the log where she sat. I smiled at all the memories that have poured back into my life. It makes me remember when everything wasn't about death and dying.
I saw my old friends and then, in the corner, I saw a hulking figure. "Hello, Meredith. I'm Sam Uley."
"Meredith Swan." I spoke as we shook hands.
"Nice to have an elemental back with us."
I froze Hermione slipped her wand into her hands.
"How do you know about her?" Harry inquired nervously.
"Jacob told us." Sam spoke and his eyes flickered to Hermione. "We're of no threat."
"You're in our legends," Billy spoke. "You were meant to come back."
My eyes widened a little, not only at the interruption, but what he was saying.
"You have a legend about me."
"Sit, child. It's legend time."
Apparently, they did have a legend about me. I sipped some water as Billy cleared his throat and we all leaned a little closer.
"Many generations ago, there was a woman named Nahali. She was a woman of the spirits. She had hair black as ebony, skin white as the herons feathers and eyes that could change at any moment. She was magical." Everyone looked at me. "Nahali traveled the world. She was always seeking adventure. She returned home at the ailment of her father and stayed with him until he died.
She found her strength after her father joined the spirits, and she gained her powers. She could bend the elements. She laid in beds of grass high as small children. The crops and rain were always plentiful for the village."
This was a nice legend. I liked this.
"But it wasn't until Nahili found her other half. She found her imprint."
Wait. What?
"She had grown in power to a size of a god. No one had ever seen anything like it. And when there was a battle between the worlds, Nahili sacrificed herself. She offered her soul to both worlds to protect her loved ones."
What the hell is going on?
"They denied her soul. For she was Mother Nature. She could not die."
I froze. I looked from Ron, to Hermione, to Harry and lastly to Bella.
"We do not know if the Mother still walks this plane. We know that she still has power all around our land. She is in our minds and prayers. We beg for her blessing. She has protected this land for eons."
So cool. I'm gunna imprint.
Wait. Does that mean I'm gunna live forever?
What the hell is an imprint?
Jesus so much...
"You're animagi." Hermione spoke and my eyes snapped to her. "Meredith. They're like you-"
"Hermione!" I cut her off. They knew we were witches and wizards and they knew I had 'Mother Nature' powers but the animagus thing was something I didn't want to talk about yet.
"We're werewolves." Jacob spoke.
"No you're not," Ron spoke. "We know werewolves. You guys are just shape shifters."
"There goes Paul's ego," Leah spoke and I ran a hand through my hair.
"Wait." Embry said. "You change into an animal too?"
I was really hoping that got glossed over. Fuck.
"I turn into a tiger." I explained and their eyes widened.
I knew exactly what was to come next.
"Can we see?"
I hated this. I hated being a freak of my own kind. This is why didn't the want pack to know. The vampires can know. They're freaks that don't age they don't have shit on me.
But the wolves...
I stood from the log. Since my clothes would be there when I shifted back, I felt my eyes roll into the back of my head and then my bones cracking.
It's not a pretty sight to see the transformation, but what's there after that is so much greater.Yooooooo kids what's up?!
This is a longer chapter. What do you think?!
No one has answered my imprint/blood mate question and it's making me anxious. I don't want to have to choose.
Hit me up in the comments, guys✌🏻️
