The anxiety rolled my stomach just like the wind on the outside rolled my hair. I was currently half way between Bella and Edward and the ground where the fighting was taking place. The woods were still all around me, not a bird cooing in the distance. They new they needed to stay away. But I couldn't do that I lost that fight. I needed to keep an eye on both-
Wait.
'Seth' I heard. Edward. In my head. Wait... it was my hearing. Something's pulled me to Edward in spirit.
Something wasn't right.
The ritual was done. The candles were lit, the rope was burned and even if someone moved the rocks and gems that I had placed, they couldn't stop it. I stood slowly, my breath being the only noise that rocked the silent winds louder before.
I was barefoot, currently. It's not important, I guess. I just thought you'd like to know. The cold of the snow began to shoot up my leg as I ran further up the mountain, wind whipping my face just as hard.
But the barefoot feet of mine carried me up the mountain in seconds. I could feel it radiating from the ground. It wasn't fear. It wasn't death... I wasn't sure what 'it' was, but it was something. Danger.
"Where's Meredith?" A familiar voice piped in as I reached the top. I was behind a thick row of trees and not only was I hidden, but my scent was hidden by the thick foliage that surrounded me. My breath was so heavy and so was my heart at what I saw what was before me, that I was surprised the vampires didn't hear me.
Victoria, from what I could identify, was a tall, ginger woman. Vampire. But I saw...
"Oh Draco," I breathed with a frown as his platinum hair rustled in the wind. Of course he's involved. Anything to make my life harder, right?
The only reason I haven't killed him yet is nostalgia, I think.
Did I really just say that?
I ran out into the field. The snow caressed my barefoot feet yet I felt no cold anymore. I'm still not sure if I was numb or if adrenaline wouldn't let me be hindered.
"Meredith," Draco gasped in shock as he looked at me. He seemed as if he was crazy. His hair was... he had lost sleep. A lot of sleep. His eyes were wild and bloodshot and I knew that something like that only came from insanity.
"Draco what are you doing here?!" I yelled. The anger was radiating from my body and the wind picked up, showing my anger. I had officially lost patience, but I had also lost my fear. "Why are you doing this?"
"I made a deal," Draco said. "With her."
"Meredith, that's Victoria," Edward's deep voice shook.
My thought was loud, I made sure Edward heard it. 'I know.'
I looked at the stunning redhead vampire who smirked evilly at me. She knew only a part of what I could do, and what I was.
"You're the witch I've heard all about."
Fury coupled with the furious anxiety that had been boiling through my veins, I was a ticking time bomb waiting to explode.
"Get the hell away from here." I growled at Draco. "You're not wanted here."
"I gave up everything for you!" Draco screamed as he made his way closer to me.
"I never asked for you!" I yelled back. I felt helpless. I hated it. I hated that this was my life. "I never asked for you to find me!"
"Don't kill Bella," I spoke, turning to Victoria in desperation. "Wouldn't you rather kill Mother Nature? The one who makes the world spin?" She couldn't kill me. But she didn't know that.
"Meredith what the hell?!" Bella gasped in shock. She didn't know what I was doing.
'Edward shut her up,' I spoke in my mind and looked back at Victoria who seemed shocked.
"You. A goddess. Want to give your life for a stupid human?"
"Watch it, bitch." I growled at the boundary-overstepping vampire. "That human is my sister."
Her eyes widened and a smirk glimmered. "So if she dies..."
"I wouldn't fucking do that if I were you," I threatened, my hand outstretched towards her that in one second I could turn into an offensive attack.
"Or what?" Victoria asked, taunting me. "You'll blast me with some flowers and water?"
"Don't tempt her," Draco tried to warn. But seemingly done with his pleads, Victoria turns to him.
"Shut up." She growled.
"Victoria... she's stronger than you." Draco tried again. But... she did something I didn't expect. It happened in a matter of seconds.
Her fist moved insanely fast, and his neck, before I could blink, was in an unnatural direction, sticking out a little at the left side.
My heart shattered unexpectedly. I didn't have romantic feelings for Draco anymore. He wasn't the Draco I fell in love with. But a part of me couldn't dare to let go of the time when he was my best friend.
Riley came out. There was an aggressive fight. Seth reassured me after he killed Riley, through his body language, that I should go.
A part of me didn't want to. A part of me knew that I couldn't just leave. But I also knew that I couldn't stay there. There were too many other places I should be.
But, Merlin. No matter where I was, I just hoped everyone would be alright.Yo what's up!!!
Clary here. I think I'm gunna have some spiritual flashbacks and have her make contact with Snape or Fred again. Maybe have her have flashbacks of what happened when there was the Battle at Hogwarts. It's all really important and I never went back to it.
Comment below!! I LOVE SUGGESTIONS!!
