I walked into the school. Hermione was silent next to me, I was simply smirking to myself. We always got attention whether we were in the muggle world or the magical world. We stuck out.
"Hi," I heard and jumped. Jesus these muggles are stealthy.
Looking, I saw a blonde and an Asian guy. "Hi," I spoke, slightly startled.
"I'm Mike, this is Eric," the blonde guy spoke. "You guys are new?"
"I'm Bella's sister." I spoke. Bella told me about Mike and Eric. They seemed nice enough.
"Really? You're Meredith?"
"Yep," I smiled. "This is my best friend, Hermione. Her boyfriend and our other friend are around here somewhere."
This is gunna be awkward.
"Hermione!" Ron called as he jogged over. "I found our lockers. They're right by Alice and Jasper's." I smiled as Ron wrapped his arm around Hermione's waist, Harry walking up next to me.
"Who're they?" Harry asked.
"Oh, Ron, Harry, this is Mike and Eric. They're Bella's friends."
The boys mumbled quick hellos and goodbyes before walking away and I snort.
"You're so mean!" Hermione spoke as we walked towards the lockers. "They were just being nice."
Rolling my eyes as I walked through the throngs of stupid teenagers, I stopped at my locker, opening it to see some ready to use textbooks. The only person who I could blame for this was Alice.
Hermione smiled when she saw textbooks and I'm not going to lie, I did too. Textbooks were safe. They reminded us of the good pieces of Hogwarts. The ones that didn't remind us of death.
"How is Meredith in AP everything?" Harry asked. "She didn't do anything at Hogwarts. She copied off Hermione."
"Meredith is a genius," Bella spoke. "She's just lazy."
I rolled my eyes, but didn't say anything. She wasn't wrong. I was really lazy.
"Come on," I grumbled as I checked my schedule. "Can we get this over with. I hate school."
"Why?"
"Cause it's not Hogwarts."

School actually wasn't horrible. But it was what happened after that made me a hell of a lot happier.
Draco was gone, thank god, and a beat up pick up truck sat in the driveway. From what I remembered, this could only be one person.
"PAUL!" I screamed and hopped off my board. I ran into his arms and he hugged me. "God I missed you so much."
"They told me everything, Mere." He spoke as his muscular arms wrapped themselves around my small stature. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there."
"You would have died. I'm so glad you're okay."
He was really warm. Insanely hot. I mean his body temperature... duh.
I ripped my head up, my eyes flying to his. He smiled at me and I smiled back.
There was something that I didn't expect. This sort of... earthquake. I don't know what it was. It wasn't outside of the two of us. It was within me, I think. These two things crashing inside of me that made me insanely happy.
Paul was looking at me... with a look that not even Draco had ever looked at me with. He acted as if he just saw the second coming of Jesus Christ. As if everything in his life was in one piece. And the fact that he saw that in me...
All of it fit together.
There was a honk and I saw Bella's trucks trying to get in. For some reason she thought it was a good idea to let Ronald drive.
"I'll see you later," Paul smiled at me as he kissed my forehead before letting me go and hopping into his own truck, driving away.
I stood, watching him as a wide smile grew on my face.
Wait...
I was thinking back to the legend. Nahili found her imprint. I didn't know what that was until Jared explained it to me and I met his imprint, Kim. She was really nice. He explained that something in your mind shifts and your body and their body will meld together in this perfect shape. Soulmates. Halves. Two halves put together from the heavens.
Did Paul just imprint on me?

I was with Harry, laying on the couch and watching a movie.
As of right now, we all shared my room. The boys had sleeping bags and blow up mattresses and Hermione and I shared the bed.
Hermione and Ron had fallen asleep. More than anything, Harry and I were looking at my laptop, looking for a small house of our own. As much as I loved my dad and Bella, I couldn't share with them like this for much longer.
We did find one, eventually. It was cheap, and would be a fixer upper, but it's worth it. It's actually only two blocks away from this house, just a street over.
"We have no money," Harry spoke to me. "How could we get muggle jobs?"
"Magical exchange?" I suggested. The Magical Exchange was something that something that wizards use when they want a normal life. They change all magical or wizard currency to American or British currency.
We had all accumulated very pretty pennies because of our actions. For some reason people thought if they threw money at us we'd do better.
"Not a bad idea. I'm willing to transfer some."
Magical currency is worth a lot more than American money since it's pure gold or silver, so fifty galleons is about a thousand American dollars.
The house was about eighty five thousand American dollars. We could do that. We all had thousands and hundreds of thousands of galleons in bank vaults at Gringotts. It would be an asspain and a struggle, but it's worth it.
The house was quite pretty. Though it would need quite a lot of tender love and care, it was beautiful. It had a wrap around porch, a nice kitchen, four bathrooms, five bedrooms, a nice living room, and it was partially furnished. If I remembered, I would talk to my dad about it in the morning.
I smiled to myself as Harry and I eventually drifted asleep, Finding Nemo still playing on my television.Guys.....
It happened....
Paul!
We need a ship name, don't we?
I want y'all to help me but y'all didn't help with the imprint thing so I don't know if you guys even care enough.
This is literally a fanfic why am I so angsty?!
I love y'all anyways.
