Oh dear.
A few things I'm frustrated about?
Unclear directive on who should do what.
You know, you have the HR department and the Accounting department and who the hell should prepare and do the wage adjustments? Since there's no directive, everyone would like to think it's not their job, that someone else is meant to do it.
Not me. I worry it's my job and I'm not doing it. But really, how could it be my job? I don't even have the info about most of it.
When I become a manager of my own, I would seriously, really make clear directives. LOUD AND CLEAR. There's just no excuse for being vague. Every time I talk to people who speak very vaguely, inside my mind I sigh and I just want to punch them in the face. Like... seriously? What the hell did you just say? What the hell does that mean?
So, here I am, again promoting to: SAY WHAT YOU MEAN, AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAY.
Let's be clear, people.
KJ all the way.
