Sometimes, parents just go around embarrassing their kids.
So, when you become a parent yourself, be mindful of what you say and what you do to your kids, alright?
It's so easy to think and assume that we really know our kid's likes and dislikes.
The thing is, was it really theirs? Or something you imposed upon them?
Look, sometimes what you like is something your kid wouldn't like.
Don't assume, please.
Alright, you like those colors, but your kid prefers something else. Maybe yellow or orange, which probably don't suit your age.
You like your hair in a 60s do, or maybe 80s, your kid is a millennial, though.
The point is, don't impose something you like on your kid.
You might ask them to TRY it, and if they like it, good for you.
But if they don't, please don't impose it on them.
