It's not that I don't agree with you, and what you're saying.

It's more like... "I get it, but don't we have MORE pressing matters to discuss than this?"

Shouldn't we talk about our priorities first, before we go to things that don't require our immediate attention?

It's called immediate, because it is immediate. It's called a priority, because it is a priority.

Sometimes people just mess the order of things.

You talk about this, but was it requiring immediate attention? Would it hurt to ignore it for now and discuss it later? We're not ignoring it because it's not important, we're ignoring it (for now) because something is far MORE important. 

In our personal lives, sometimes we feel that we are more important than others. We like to think so, and believe so. But it's not the truth, though.

Accept that.
