You have the choice to say "no".

If you noticed people always ask you for a favor or a request,

you better look back and analyze whether you always say "yes" to them.

The only way to stop the abuse is by starting to say "no".

That way, they will know that you also know how to refuse.

And if people come to you with their problems,

and they seem to be passing the problem to you,

again, you can refuse. That's their problem, don't let them drag you into it.

Note that we're talking about people here, not necessarily your friends.

Friends are a different category.

Nananahimik ang schedule ko.

You come to me because you rescheduled your class at tatamaan ang schedule ko.

What do you want me to do? Reschedule my classes for you?

Hindi ba pwedeng humanap ka ng sched na ikaw lang ang affected?

Mandadamay ka pa ng iba? Asa ka naman.

Please, people, do not inconvenience others with your problem.

Get real.
