It was almost 7 and I was waiting on the last few tables before I got to get ready and leave. Just then the door dinged and I saw Mark and Ruby walk in. I had my hands full with drinks to be able to great them. I walked to the table and passed out the drinks. One I was done I went and clocked out and put my apron on its hook. Actually. I need to wash it. I grabbed it and shoved in in my bag. I the. Walked out and saw Mark and Ruby sitting at a table. I walked over to them and Mark got up. "Momma!" Ruby yelled standing on the seat and gave me a hug. "I missed you."

"I missed you too, bug." I gave her a kiss on the head.

"I missed you too." Mark said giving me a puppy dog look.

"I missed you too, calm down." He gave me a quick kiss and I picked Ruby up and walked out of the building. "So did you have fun today?"  I put Ruby in her seat.

"Yeah. I meet a dog named chica." She said. "And. And I meet new people."

"Guess what. I met chica to." I told her.

"What?" She said. I got out of the back and got into the passenger seat. Mark started the car. "We also played hide and seek."

"More like she ran away and hide from me." He chuckled. I smiled at the both of them.

We pulled up to my apartment and went inside. Ruby was running in front of us. I then felt mark grabe my hand. I looked over at him and gave him a quick kiss on the lips. We reached my door and I unlocked the door and we went inside. Ruby ran to her room. "Did I put a hat on her this morning?" I asked flopping on the couch next to mark and leaned on him with one of his arms around my shoulder.

"No. I gave her my hat. She was trying to scratch her head and I gave it to her to see if it stopped her from trying to itch her head. And it seamed to work." He said.

"Really. That's good." I said. "How was she today?"

"She was actually really good. She sat on the couch coloring and playing with chica while I worked. " he started laughing.

"What's so funny?" I asked looking up at him.

"We were recording a video and at the end I said fuck and she yelled 'oow you said a bad word' and the guys started laughing. They told me that I have a potty mouth." He said. I started laughing.

"That's gold." I said.

"Yeah and we let her say goodbye in the video because of it to." He said laughing.

"That's sweet." I said. I turned so that my body was facing him and I had my legs across his lap with my arms around his neck. His arm slipped down to my lower back. He leaned in and gave me a very passionate kiss. I smiled and kissed him back. We pulled away and then we kissed again. We stayed like this for a few minutes.

"Oh shit." Mark and I pulled away and looked over at the door and saw Rocky standing their. I looked away from Ricky. I could feel my face starting to heat up. "I didn't know. I'm so sorry. I'll, be, in my room." Rocky walked to his room and I heard the door close. I wanted to look at Mark but honestly I was to embarrassed to look. I felt his hand under my chin and made me look at him. His face was slightly red, but he smiled at me.

"Where were we?" He gave me another kiss and after another minute or two we pulled away.

"You're an amazing person." I told Mark.

"Oh yeah?" He asked.

"Yeah. Im glad I met you. And I can tell Ruby really likes you. And she deserves to have someone like you to look up to. Yeah she has uncles but they aren't always around. And my dad sees her maybe once a month, and her dad well you know, and rocky, well he's my best friend and everything but he just hasn't been around a lot you know." I started laughing. "And honestly she talks more about you then I do." He smiled. I looked at him and placed my hand on his cheek. "And I don't want to lose you anytime soon. I've kind of grown a little attached you know." I smiled at him. He pulled me closer to him.

"Oh trust me. You're not gonna lose me. I have too much invested in this." I smiled. "And Ruby, I have never meet a kid like her. She's so smart and very sassy, just like her mom." I smiled even more. "Today she was just amazing. And I can't think of not being in her life, you know. Today we were sitting on the ground and she got up and gave me a hug. And she told me that I'm the best. I know it may not mean a lot to most, but it made my day, fuck it made my whole week." I placed my head on his shoulder. And I felt a few tears starting to form.

"You don't know how much that means to me." I said letting g the tears fall. I then rubbed my eyes and Mark wrapped his arms around me.

"Don't cry." He said.

"They're happy tears." I said pulling away from him. "That means so much to me. Knowing that Ruby likes you so much means that I can have you around. I've been in a relation ship one time after Ruby's dad and I thought it was something but Ruby didn't like him. And she would cry so much if I told her that he was coming. And it broke my heart to see her like that. So I ended it with him. And any time I mentioned you or anything about you she just smiled and laughs. And that means the world to me. I want to be in a long term relationship with you and with her liking you I can have that." I looked up at Mark and he had a tears forming. I held my hand up to his eyes and whipes the tears away. 

"These past two weeks have been so crazy. And I've loved every single moment of them." He said.

"I have to." I told him and gave him another kiss.

"And I can't think of a world without you two in it." Mark told me.

"Me either."
