Chaper 44

"Get up!" I felt someone pull the blankets off of me and then jump on the bed and crawl over to me. I turned around so I was laying on my back and opened my eyes and saw mark straddling me.

"What?" I said rubbing the sleep from my eyes.

"Come on get up and get ready." He said leaning down and pecking my lips with his. I placed my arms around his neck. I pulled him down and kissed him.

"I don't want to get up." I Whined.

"Well it's too late for that." He said. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me off the bed. I tried to touch the ground but my toes barley touched the ground.

"Why what do you want me to do?" I asked placing my head on his chest. He walked over to our bathroom and he placed me in the shower. "I don't want to take a shower."

"Take a shower." He leaned down and turned on the water.

"Mark!" I yelled as the water hit me. "Mark!" He tried to move but I grabbed his shirt and pulled him to me. Making him stumble and fall into the tub. Taking me down with him. Mark looked down at me do to the fact that he landed on me.

"If the guys weren't in the living room I would finish this but they are. And now I need to change again." He said getting up.  And pulling me up with him. I looked at him and he was soaked and his hair was stuck to his forehead. I started laughing and he did to. "Now take your shower." He smiled and walked out of the bathroom taking his shirt off as he goes.

When I was done taking a shower I changed into some shorts and a t-shirt. I walked to the living room and saw Tyler Ethan mark and Ruby in the living room. "So why is everyone at my house at 7 in he morning?" I asked sitting down on marks lap.

"You never told her?" Ethan chimed in from the floor while playing with Ruby and some of her toys.

"No I didn't it's a surprise for Ruby." Mark said.

"Then why not tell me?" I asked. Mark moved closer to my ear.

"We're going to the zoo." He whispered.

"Oh my god really?" I asked getting a little too excited.

"Gosh calm down." Mark said wrapping his arms around my waist.

"When are we going?" I asked.

"As soon as your ready." He added.

"I'm ready now." I told him trying to get up but he held me down.

"Ok let's go." Mark said standing up with his arms still around me. He carried me like that tell we got to the garage door and he put me down. "I forgot the keys." I laughed at him and the rest of us went out side and waited by the car.

"I'll sit in the back this time." Tyler said.

"You sure?" I asked.

"Yep." He grabbed my by my shoulders and moved me so I was standing by the passenger side.

"Oh my bag!" I yelled. I ran back inside and headed to my room and when I ran into the room I ran into Mark. I looked up at him and smiled.

"What you forget something?" He said holding up my bag in his hands with a smirk on his face.

"Yeah." I smiled and grabbed my bag from him and walked away. I felt him grab me by my hips and pull me back to him. "Yes?" I said looking up at him.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too. Now can we go?" I asked pulling away from him and heading to the car.

"The zoo!" Ruby yelled. She would be standing up if she wasn't buckled into her seat. "Zoo. Zoo. Zoo. Zoo. Zoo." Ethan was laughing and Tyler was trying to not laugh but failed and busted up laughing.

We finally found a spot and we all jumped out. I turned around to go get Ruby but I saw her sitting on Tyler's shoulders. I smiled and turned around. "You ready Ruby?" I heard Tyler say.

"Yes!" She squealed. The Five of us headed to the front and mark bought us our tickets.

When we walked inside there actually wasn't a lot of people here. Probably because school is going to start soon or something. Or the fact that. It a lot of people liked going to the zoo anymore. "So where are we going to go first?" Mark asked.

"Giraffes! Giraffes!" Ruby yelled from on top of Tyler's shoulders.

"Alright giraffes first!" Mark said. He grabbed my hand and lead us towards the giraffes.

"Momma momma look!" I turned around and saw Ruby pointing to some pigeons.

"Leave it to Ruby, to go to he zoo and get attracted to the pigeons." Ethan laughed.

"Bug those are just pigeons." I told her.

"Can I get down." Rudy asked Tyler leaning over his head to look at him.

"Yep." He lifted her off his shoulders and placed her on the ground.

"Birdys!" She yelled running after the pigeons. Mark started laughing and I joined in soon after.

"I thought you wanted to see the giraffes!" Mark yelled at her. She stopped and turned around after chasing all the birds away.

"Giraffes!" She yelled running to mark. She grabbed his hand and tried to pull him to the giraffes.

"Sparky the giraffes are this way." He said pointing to the other way. She then started pulling us towards the giraffes.

"That was a long day." Mark said. We were walking to the car with Ruby asleep in his arms.

"You can say that again." Tyler chimed in from behind us followed by a yawn. We got to the car and mark placed Ruby in her seat and buckled her up. I got in the passenger seat and buckled up.

When everyone was in we headed back to our place. "That was fun. Haven't been to the zoo in a long time." Tyler said from the back seat.

"I haven't either." Ethan said. We were literally at the zoo all day. We got here around 9 in the morning and we are just leaving around 6. They had some animal show with the lions and stuff and mark wanted to see it.

"The last time I took Ruby was before mark and I met and we were only there for an hour because it started pouring rain. And it was only supposed to lightly sprinkle." I told them closing my eyes.

"You guys are lame. I'm wide awake." Mark said then yawning afterwords. I looked over at him and smiled.

"Uh-huh. Sure you're wide awake." I told him.

"I am. I can go run 10 miles right now." He said. I heard Ethan laugh from behind us.

"Alright. Get out here and run home. I'll drive us." I said.

"Nah not today." He said.

We pulled up to the house and we all got out. "Hey Tyler wake up." I shook him to wake him up.

"Hum? What?" He sat up and stretched. I laughed at him and he got out. Mark had already got The sleeping Ruby out.

Ethan and Tyler waved goodbye and headed home. I followed mark into the house and watched him take Ruby to her room. I walked over to the couch and flopped down on the couch. I rolled over on my side and grabbed the remote. Mark then walked up to me and tossed him self on the couch with me. He then moved so that he was laying behind me. He wrapped his arms around me and buried his head into my shoulder. After a few minutes I heard his snoring behind me.

"Yeah. I'm not tired, my ass!" I chuckled.
