Chapter 63:

-Mark-

Mia was walking around the house. Mia was getting Ruby's things ready for her first day of school. And Ruby's not helping. She's sitting on he ground in her pjs playing with Chica and little wade.

I walked up behind Ruby and picked her up. "Sparky you need to get dressed." I told her. She giggled. I walked to her room and sat her on her bed. "What are you wanting to wear?"

"My Markiplier shirt!" She squealed jumping off her bed and running to her closet. She pulled out a black shirt and held it to me. I grabbed it and she ran to her dresser and picked out a black tutu skirt thing. She then grabbed the shirt from me and ran out of the room. I followed her and she ran up to Mia.

"Mark can you watch the food?" Mia asked as she helped Ruby with her clothes. I walked to the kitchen and watched the food.

I took the food and placed it on plates for us. I sat them on the table as Ruby ran in with half her hair brushed. "Ruby!" I heard Mia yell. I grab Ruby before she sits down and took her to the living room and sat her on the ground in front of Mia.

Mia brushed her hair and put it to two low ponytails. "Daddy! Where's my beanie?" She asked.

"I'll go look. You two go and eat." I told them. I walked to Ruby's room and went through her dresser drawers and looked for the beanie that I gave her awhile back.

Once I found it I headed to the kitchen and saw the girls eating. I walked up behind Ruby and put the hat on her. She looked up at me and smiled. I kissed her head and grabbed my plate and wolfed down my food.

When we all finished eating I grabbed everyone's plates and placed them in the dish washer while Mia went and grabbed Ruby's back pack. She sat it on the kitchen island and looked at me.

She let out a hum of air and gave me a look that says she's scared. "It's ok. It's just school." I told her.

"Mark. It's not just school. She's going to be around other kids. They could make fun of her and hurt her. What if she gets bullied mark?" She worried. I walked over to her and pulled her into my chest.

"It's school. Things will be difficult and different but you'll be fine. She'll be fine. And everything will be ok." I told her. She squeezed my tighter.

"But she won't be around me. And I won't be able to protect her." She said.

"And you won't. It will be ok. She'll learn to defend herself. And plus if she needs help we'll have Ethan teach her some cool flips and shit. THat will scare the kids." She giggled and I felt her look up at me. She had her chin on my chest and she was looking at me. I leaned down and kissed her. "I love you."

"I love you too." She told me.

"Let's go!" Ruby yelled running over to us. I picked her up.

"Is some one ready for there first day of school?" I asked her.

"Let's go let's go!" She yelled. Mia grabbed Ruby's bag and I grabbed the keys and headed to the car.

I opened the garage door and then walked to the car. I put Ruby down and she jumped in the back seat and buckled herself up in her car seat. Mia handed me the back pack and I placed in in the seat next to Ruby.

I walked to the driver seat and got in starting he car and pulling out of the drive way.

Luckily the school is in the neighborhood and only several blocks away but we are driving because Mia doesn't feel like walking.

Morning sickness is kicking her butt.

We pulled up to the school and I found a parking spot. I got out and helped Ruby out of her seat. Mia grabbed Ruby's bag and held it for her while she got out of the car.

I stood by Mia while Mia helped put Ruby's back pack on. "Let's go!" Ruby yelled as soon as her bag was on her back. I grabbed her by her bag before she took off.

She looked up at me and then grabbed my hand pulling me to the front door. "Hurry daddy!" She yelled. Mia grabbed my hand and we walked Ruby to her class.

Ruby was in between Mia and I and was holding our hands. "Hey look. It's Markiplier." I heard some kid mutter.

"Daddy. They know you." Ruby said as we walked passed the group of kids.

"Hey look here's your class." I said with a smile. Ruby smiled and let go of our hands but I kept a hold of her hand so she wouldn't take off.

"Bug I want some pictures." Mia said. Ruby turned around and looked right at Mia and smiled.

"Cheese!" She said. Mia snapped a picture. "Bye!" She yelled.

"Sparky!" I said. She turned around to us. "You gonna say good bye?" She giggled and ran over to me. I picked her up and turned to Mia. Mia gave Ruby a kiss and Ruby hugged her.

"Bye mommy." She said.

"Bye bug." Mia said. Ruby gave me a hug and I kissed the top of her head.

"Bye daddy." She said.

"Bye Sparky." I put her down and she ran off to class.

"I love you!" Ruby yelled before going into class.

"Love you too." Mia said but Ruby was already in class. I grabbed Mia's hand and pulled her out of the school. We got to the car and got in. I looked over at Mia and she was crying. I grabbed her hand and bright it to my lips and kissed her hand.

"It will be ok." I flashed her a smile. And she gave me a weak one in return.
