I was sitting on my couch with ruby laying on my lap. We were watching... Ugh... I don't know. I grabbed the remote and pushed the 'ok' button and Ruby sat up and looked at me. "Mama I was watching that!" She said.

"I know. I was just checking to see that the show was called." I said.

"It's paw patrol." She said jumping off the couch and walking to her room. That little girl is too much like me.

My phone buzzed and I say it was Mark.

Mark<3- hey can me face time?

Me- no.

Mark<3- wait...what? Why? 😕😥

Me- I'm in my mom clothes.

Mark<3- so I don't care

Me- well I do.

Mark<3-please?

Me- no

Mark<3-PPLLLEEEEAAASSSEEEEE

Me- fine!

Mark<3- Yeah!! 😜😆

A few seconds later my phone rang and it was Mark face timing me. I awnsered and made sure the camra was not facing me but the TV. I saw his face pop up and he was smiling. Then he had a pouting face. "The whole point of face timing is so that we can talk face to face through this thing called Wireless internet." He said.

"I know, but you never said that I have to show my face. Hey look you can see my toes." I said pointing the phone at my toes.

"Come on. Let me see your face." He said.

"Why?" I said.

"I want to see you're beautiful face." I started to blush.

"No." I said. "I'm in sweats."

"Hey I'm face timing you in only boxers." He said laughing. I looked at him. I haven't even relized he was shirtless.

"Oh. I didn't even realize." I said.

"Come on. Please." He said. I gave in. I hit the reverse camra and now he was looking at me. "Hey there is the beautiful Mia." I smiled. "Look at you smile." I tossed my head back and smiled even bigger.

"Stop." I laughed.

"Ok ok." He said, "so what are you doing today?"

"I have the day off and I'm hanging out with-" I was cut off by Ruby.

"Me!" She yelled trying to clime over the back of of he couch.

"Hey." I placed the phone in my lap. "Stop. You can't clime over the back of the couch." I pulled her over and placed her next to me. I picked up my phone.

"But you do it all da time." She said. I looked down and then at her. I heard mark laughing.

"Do as I say. Not as I do." I told her. She looked at me with a confused look. She then got off the couch. I looked back at Mark and noticed he was wearing a shirt.

"So. Your a bad example for your own child." He laughed.

"Hahaha." I said. "Very funny."

"So what are you doing again today?" He asked.

"Hanging out with Ruby." I said.

"Oh. So uh maybe we can go to the park?" He asked.

"Park!" Ruby yelled. She ran over to me and tried to get on my lap. I pulled her on my lap and made it so that Mark could see the both of us. "Can we can we can we." She looked at me then at Mark who was now sitting at a computer.

"I guess." I said.

"Yeah!" Ruby said, "Hey. What's that?"

"What?" Mark asked looking around his room.

"The thing next to you!" She said.

"Oh this?" He picked up a little toy.

"Yeah yeah yeah." She said grabbing my phone from my hands.

"It's Tiny Box Tim." He said showing the camra.

"Cute." I said. "Hey Ruby go get some clothes. So we can go."

"Oh. Otay." She jumped off my lap and ran to her room.

"So you want me to head over now then?" He asked.

"Well take your time. I have to get dressed and then get Ruby ready." I said.

"All right. I'll take my time. I'll let you go so you can get ready." He said.

"All right I'll see you in a bit." I said.

"Ok bye."

"Bye." I hung up and got up from the couch. Uh I have to get ready. I walked to my room and stripped down to my underwear and bra. And grabed a pair of jeans and a Zelda shirt. I brushed my hair and placed a black beanie on my head. I then walked to my bathroom and put on some makeup and then grabed my shoes and walked to the living room.

I sat on the couch and started tying my shoes. "Mom!" I heard Ruby yell. I stood up after finnaly finishing tying my shoes and walked over to her room. She was sitting on her bed with pink flower print pants a orange and red striped shirt and a green sweater next to her. She looked at me. "Momma. I need help." She looked down at her shoes. I walked in front of her and kneeled down and helped her put her shoes on.

"So that's what you are wearing?" I asked with a smile.

"I'm a rainbow." She yelled throwing her arms up in the air. She then gigled and made me laugh. I finished with her shoes and looked at her. She then squinted her eyes at me. "Mamma?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you like him?" She asked.

"Like who?" I asked.

"That guy." She said. I tilted my head. "On the phone."

"You mean mark?" I asked.

"Who has red hair?" She asked. I nodded. "Do you?" I thought for a second.

"Yeah." I said.

"More than me?" She said with a frown on her face.

"No. Never. You're my whole world. I can never like someone more than you." I picked her up and sat on her bed. She sat on my lap with her arms wrapped around my neck.

"Ok." She said. I kissed the top of her head then stood up with her in my arms. She wrapped her legs around me.

"You ready for the park?"

"Yeah." She yelled wiggling out of my arms and running out the room.

"Hey. Come get your sweater!"
