Scorpius expected something more. Anything, actually. Anything could've been more grand than the simple, two-story house that the Potters lived in.

Did they take the right turn?

His confused gaping was cut off by the thump of the trunk of the taxi being opened roughly by the driver.

"Thank you m'am for riding with us. 'Ere you go." His thick Scottish brogue was tangible in his words, and the exchanging of bags could be heard faintly.

Albus glanced over, and caught Scorpius' stumped expression. "It's not much, but it's home. Besides, Dad likes it here. Far away from the wizards who bug him about the old 'glory days'."

His freckled nose scrunched up with distaste at the last two words. Albus tried not to remember about his father's childhood victories.

It only reminded him that he would never live up to Harry Potter's legacy.
