22. The beginning of forever.

Regret.

Feeling like there was so much you could've done but didn't.

It's in vain.

There is absolutely nothing you can do about it now.

It's in the past.

Remember good times and hold on to the memories.

Pure people are happy no matter what situation they are put in, so don't blame yourself for death's doing.

They most likely weren't as unhappy as you think.

You did nothing wrong.

Everything happens for a reason.

Let go of regret.

They wouldn't want you to be torturing yourself over something you couldn't help.

They would want you to be happy for the life they did live, not sad and mourning over the end of it.

Everyone dies.

You have to make the most of it.

Be happy for them.

Instead of having to deal with all of life's hardships, they can rest in a forever kind of peace.

They can frolic in the grassy meadows in heaven and do anything they want now.

Everything happens for a reason.

And, besides, it's not like this is the last time you will see them. You will see them one day again when it's your turn to enter the light. Promise.

So celebrate life; theirs and your own; and don't think of death as an ending.

It is only the beginning.

The beginning of forever.

And if they love you and you love them, which I know you do,

Then that is truly all that matters.
