27. If Tomorrow Was Your Last Day

If tomorrow was your very last day,

Would you still feel like it's all okay

To procrastinate your time away?

Would you really choose to stay

The same as you have always been?

The same dumb punk

who needs to win?

No matter who gets in your way,

Or would you try to find a way

to speak the words

trapped in your heart?

Heal broken souls you tore apart?

Why does it take tragedies occurring

For people's consciences

to begin stirring?

If today was really the end of all time,

You'd still pretend

that everything's fine?

Would you be proud of who you are

Or just not care you went too far?

Would you change your mind if you

Knew I have lived a life so untrue?

Regret it all, can't tell a soul

My heart is ice and black as coal.

Or would you have a change of heart

And recognize the work of art

That this world could be one day

If we all just stayed away

From broken shards;

this messed up game,

Causing people to point and blame,

And forget that others do have names

And feelings, thoughts,

and loved ones too,

Its understandment we must come to.

So if this was your very last day,

Would you be proud to be this way?

Comment and tell me if you'd be proud. I know I need some more time myself if we're being honest.
