Trust.
It's hard to gain,
Easy to break.
You think that you've earned it,
But realize its fake.
Just when it begins
to come within reach,
Alarms start sounding,
security's been breached,
and the trust is in hiding once more.
Once it's gone,
it's hard to gain back
Misunderstandings,
now all's out of whack.
keep trying to earn it
But the knob,
You can't turn it.
All's left is a lonely locked door.
And everything has changed;
The world's been rearranged.
Nothing'll ever be the same.
