"Hey Karma..." The girl said, turning to her lover, "you seem... Off for the past few days. Is something wrong?"
Karma smiled back at her, and his eyes darkened with something definitely not lust that the young girl couldn't place. His smile seemed oddly strange on his handsome face, with an almost sinister tilt to it.
"Karma?" She asked nervously.
"Oh don't worry about it, my angel," Karma purred, but there was an undertone of disgust as he said the nickname, "It's actually the opposite. Everything is going right."
She tilted her head questioningly. He smiled a razor-sharp smile. "Just as I predicted."
He pulled her in for a kiss. Wisps of dark smoke trailed out of his fingertips, spreading over her body, consuming her. It only took a few seconds of this before she began writhing in pain, crying out to Karma to stop or help her.
Karma merely held tighter, chuckling as his darkness consumed her angelic essence and destroyed her body. "It's a shame you couldn't figure out what I was... Oh well there's no escaping now. After all, I'm a demon."
She disintegrated into nothing.

Karma Akabane was a demon. A hungry demon, actually. It had been several years since he'd last had a proper soul, and that unknowing young one didn't count. It hadn't even known it was an angel- hardly worth the effort. But Karma needed a snack so she had to do.
Now, he wasn't completely sure what to do. There had been a certain lack of angels around recently, much less angels he desired.
Damn. If he's known becoming a demon would be so hard, he wouldn't have agreed to it. But he was stuck this way now, so he was going to make the best of it. Whether those around him liked it or not.
The red-haired demon's eyes scanned the crowd below him, relying on his special 6th sense to detect an angel.
"Man, this sure is a boring-" he abruptly paused, a presence alerting him. There.
Blue hair, blue eyes. Feminine form, but it appeared to be a boy. Now that Karma had identified him, he couldn't look away. That soul drew him in more than he'd ever admit. He wanted it.
"Whoever you are, little soul~," Karma drawled lowly, "I'm going to make you mine."
