I managed successfully to get through first hour with obvious stare sessions from Oliver. He wanted me to make eye contact with him so that he could mouth something to me and I wasn't catching the bait. I wasn't in the mood. I kept my head down in his class and tried to focus on my studies, because I had thrown those on the back burner for almost a full week. Besides that, I needed to get a headstart on getting back into good graces with my parents and the absolute last thing I needed was bad grades slowing me down.

When the bell for the upperclassmen lunch rang, I couldn't have been more grateful. Not only was I starving but I needed to find Cassandra, I hadn't seen her all day, nor Hunter.

I managed to push through the crowds that over flowed the hallway and I scanned the crowds for any familiar face.

I was almost to the cafeteria when I decided to take a last minute stop to see if Cassandra was outside of her classroom. As I rounded the corner, I almost crashed right into Oliver.

"Finally" he said with excitement.

I sighed. "What do you mean?"

"You're absolutely wonderful st avoiding people and by people I mean me" he said, pointing to his chest.

"What is there to talk about?" I glared up at him, a feeling of regret creeped up on me. I should've just gone straight to the damn cafeteria. To avoid all of this.

"We need to talk" he glared.

"I got that, Genuis. About what" I hissed in annoyance.

He paused and stared at me, lips in a thin tight line. "Who dropped you off at school this morning?"

I scrunched my face up. "Why the hell does that even matter Oliver? You're a teacher and my life is none of your concern." I said, jabbing my finger against his chest. And since I had nothing else to say, I left, picking up from where I left off.. Find Cassandra and see if she was okay.

Once I stepped into the cafeteria it was almost impossible to find anybody. Since lunch had just started minutes before, the kids hadn't settled into eating yet, they were still roaming or large herds made their ways to get in line. A large percent of the kids were standing which made it ten times harder to find anyone that was familiar. I tugged out my phone and messaged Cassandra:

Where the hell are you?! :(

I decided to start looking at our original table where we mostly sat and I looked everywhere in that general area and then I saw him.

He was sitting at the table, laughing with Cassandra, hair blonde as ever. I wasted no time in getting over to the table.

I rushed to the table and glared at Cassandra, not bothering to give any acknowledgement to Chris. "What the hell, Cass? I messaged you and called you like a thousand times!"

Cassandra frowned "I know! I assumed that you had been..but my mom took away my phone because for some reason she was suspicous about the whole story with Hunter..she thinks there was alcohol involved since I didn't just drive home and I left my car at someone's house that she didn't know"

I rolled my eyes "Damn rents.. Always assuming shit"

She nodded "Hopefully things blow over soon.." And then she looked back to Chris and her face lit up "Look who's here! Chris! We haven't seen him in forever" she said and reached over to pat him on the back.

I glanced away to look at more people filing into the cafeteria and I found myself searching for (of all people) Hunter..

"Zane!"
