Hoseok
I had just transferred to this new school because of my dad's job. Both of my parents work a lot and are barely home. My older sister had moved overseas to study abroad, leaving me alone all the time. I had entered the school and was greeted by a teacher who would be showing me around. She took me to my first class and I saw two students playing around the front of the classroom. The girl looked familiar to me. She looked like my first love, Lynh.
FLASHBACK TO 2 YEARS AGO
I was walking around the streets with Yoongi when I suddenly saw a really pretty girl down the street. She had light brown hair that went down her shoulders. She had two friends standing with her and were laughing together. She suddenly looked up and locked eyes with me. She gave me a smile and I looked away and blushed.
"What's wrong with you?" I turn to see Yoongi staring at me weirdly.
"N-nothing," I stutter and look straight ahead.
"Are you sick? Why are your cheeks so red?"
"No! I'm fine."
I look over to where the girl was sitting and see her staring at me. We both blush and look away.

Yoongi had gotten a call and had to leave early. I was walking alone to my house when I heard yelling and screaming. I instantly turned around and saw the girl from before surrounded by two men. She was pushing them and telling them to go away but the men stepped closer to her and were touching her arms telling her to calm down. They snickered and looked at each other. They pushed the girl onto the wall and smirked at her. She screamed and started to cry. I quickly ran over to her and pushed the two guys away.
"Hey young boy what do you think you're doing? We were just trying to have fun," the guy on my right said.
"Yeah right," I said and rolled my eyes.
"Hey don't roll your eyes at us kid," the other guy said and started pushing my shoulders.
I pushed him and he hit the wall. The other man looked at me with a glare and tried to punch me. I quickly dodged it and punched him back. We all ended up fighting in the alleyway with the girl sitting far from behind us.
Once I was finished with them, I turned around to see the girl on the floor crying.
"Hey, it's okay. I won't hurt you," I say as I try to calm the girl down.
"T-thank you," she says and looks up at me. Her eyes widen and she lifts her hand up to touch my cheek. I wince and pull her hand away.
"Come with me. Your cheek is all bruised up and you haves cuts all over your face. I have some medicine in my room and I could clean this up for you. This is the least I can do for you since you saved me," she says. Her voice was angelic and made my heart flutter.
"Okay, I'm Hoseok by the way." I say with a smile.
"I'm Lynh."
Lynh and I had gotten each other's phone numbers and had contacted each other every day. We had gone out together a few times and I had later confessed my feelings for her. She too liked me but was afraid that I wouldn't like dating an older woman. I told her age was just a number between us and that I would love her to the moon and back. We then started to date and were very happy with each other.
She had been at my hometown for almost four months before she had to leave. She had kept extending her vacations longer and longer so she could spend more time with me but had to leave knowing she would have to leave sooner or later.
We had promised each other that we would stay in contact and would try to make our long distance relationship work. We really fell for each other.
Our relationship was going just fine until one day she called it off. She said that our spark wasn't there anymore. I was upset and thought that she was just making up excuses so she could run off with another guy. I thought she didn't love me anymore.
END OF FLASHBACK
"Lynh?"
My voice was shaky; I thought I wasn't going to able to say her name. When Truc had opened the door, I couldn't move. I had loved this girl for so long and I had just started to get over her. Our relationship didn't last long and I don't know why. She had come to visit my hometown to visit her old friend and I had happened to meet her there.
We were staring at each other for a long time before Truc interrupted us.
"You two...know each other?" she says, confusingly. I had just started to fall for Truc and her sister happened to be my ex-girlfriend. My first love.
"Can I talk to you in another room, please?" I say with tears falling down my cheeks.
"O-okay," she whispers and hands the chicken over to Truc.
We walk into the study room down the hall. I close the door and stand in front of her.
"H-how are you?" I say, trying to make conversation with her.
"I'm fine, thanks," she says and breathes in and out, trying not to cry.
"So your Truc's sister?" She nods and sighs. "I didn't think I would see you again."
"Me neither," she whispers. She then starts to cry and wipes her eyes.
"I'm sorry," she says to me. "I just left you like that. I'm very sure I broke your heart."
"You did. You shattered it, completely." She cries even more and wipes her cheeks.
"I really did love you. Didn't you feel the same way?"
"I did, for a while but I decided it was best to break it off. I couldn't stand having a long distance relationship with you. It was too hard for me."
"Too hard for you? It was hard for me! I didn't understand why you were doing this to me! I didn't know why you broke up with me! I didn't know if you loved me."
