Something just doesn't feel right.
Now I know why I felt like that last night. I woke up this morning with a massive headache and I felt like I was going to throw up. My forehead is sweating but I'm freezing cold.
"Hey Truc! You're meant to be going to school! Get out of bed!" Lynh barges into my room and sees me lying on my bed, shivering. Her eyes widen and she runs over to me. She feels my forehead and wipes her hand on the bed because of the sweat.
"You have a fever," she says as she bites her lip. "Can you sit up?"
I try sitting up but instantly falling back. My head felt so heavy.
"Let me call the school and get you some medicine," she says and goes downstairs.
I could hear her voice all the way from downstairs as she calls the school to tell them about me being sick. I grab my phone from under my pillow and text Xiumin.
I'm sick so I'm not gonna be at school today. I have to cancel on you for bubble tea again T_T
I put my phone down and wait for him reply. How many times have I cancelled on him? I've been cancelling on him this whole week. This hasn't happened before.
I hear my sister rush up the stairs and into my room, with no medicine?
"Hey, we ran out of medicine so I need to quickly run to the pharmacy. Do you think you'll be ok alone?" she says. I roll my eyes and nod.
"I'm just gonna be on this bed. I can't move anywhere," I say.
"Okay, I'm gonna go now. If you need anything call me, okay?" she says as she starts to walk out my room. Doesn't she have work today?
"Lynh! Wait! Don't you have work today?" I say and she shakes her head.
"Nah, I'm taking the day off to take care of you," she says and leaves the room. I soon hear the front door close and my phone beep. I grab my phone and see Xiumin's reply.
Okay, I might visit you after school. GET WELL SOON ❤
I smile at my phone and put it down. I close my head as I start to feel tired from my headache. What should I do? I can't do much right now because of my headache. I grab my phone and play some music. The first song is Super Junior's 'Devil.'
I listen to about half of my playlist until I realise my sister hasn't been back for a while. It's been an hour. I furrow my eyebrows and try to think of reasons of why she would take so long. The pharmacy is only ten minutes away from here and I doubt there's barely anyone there in the morning.
I call my sister but she doesn't pick up on the first call. I call her another 3 times before she picks up.
"Hello?" she says and I can hear her sniffling. Is she crying?
"Hey, where are you? Why are you taking so long?" I say with a worried tone.
"I'm close by so don't worry," she says.
"Lynh, are you okay? Are you crying?" I say and wait for her reply. She sighs.
"I'll see you at home."
"Wai-"she hangs up and I furrow my eyebrows.
