Truc
Hoseok and I ended up spending the whole day at Lynh's shop even though she told us to leave because we were a distraction or was she saying Hoseok was a distraction? But in the end, we helped her clean up some of the tables and ate chicken but most of the time Hoseok was with Lynh so I was alone. He insisted on staying with me but I knew he really wanted to spend time with Lynh so I shooed him off.
In the afternoon, there weren't many customers so the place wasn't as busy so I was sitting alone at a table because Hoseok was with Lynh. I could see the two laughing and being flirty with each other which was a disturbing sight for me.
I was trying to study for my finals which were at the end of the week and I was getting nervous. I couldn't study because my mind kept going back to Xiumin. I was debating whether or not I should call him but I knew he wouldn't pick up. Would he? I tried to shrug it off and go back to focus back on my studies.

Laughter and screaming awoke me up from my nap. Crap! I fell asleep! I quickly jumped up from my arms and looked around. I'm still at my sister's store? I look at the clock and see that it's been an hour since closing time. How long have I been asleep for then? I turned to the where the noise was coming from and saw Lynh and Hoseok chasing each other around the store.
"Lynh! Come back here!" Hoseok shouted and wrapped his arms around her waist whilst she struggled to move out of his arms. She giggled and rested her head on her chest.
"Shh be quiet Truc is still asle-"Lynh says but stops when she sees me looking at them. She stops and tries to get out of Hoseok's hold but he holds her tighter.
"Let go," she hisses.
He smiles brightly and pulls her closer and leans her head on her shoulder.
"She knows we're dating so she has to get used to it," he says quite loudly but cutely and Lynh starts to blush.
The two begin to have a small fight while Hoseok tries to cutely win my sister's affection. I thought she would push him away but I was surprised to see her give him a quick kiss.
The two walk over to my table and sit across from me with their hands intertwined.
"Are you hungry?" Lynh says to me. "I still have a lot of chicken left over in the kitchen."
I nod and get up to walk to the kitchen. My phone starts to ring and I look at the caller ID to see Xiumin's name pop up. I stop for a second and decide whether or not I should pick up the phone. I decline the call and put it back into my pocket but suddenly my phone rings again and I knew it was Xiumin. I pull out my phone from my pocket and turn it off hoping that he wouldn't call me again.
I see the chicken in a box by the fryer and walk over to grab it. I walk back to the table to see Hoseok playing with my sister's hair whilst my sister is on her snapchat using the different filters.
"Put the dog one on. I look cool," Hoseok whines.
"Don't I look prettier with the flower one though," Lynh says and I stand there rolling my eyes at the couple.
"You always look pretty," Hoseok says and I start to cringe.
"Get a room you two," I say whilst fake gaging.
Lynh rolls her eyes and continues playing with the different filters whilst Hoseok plays with her hair. I sit across from them and start devouring the chicken. This is definitely what I needed right now.
I wonder why Xiumin kept calling me. Was he worried about me because I wasn't at school today? Was he going to apologize for ignoring me?
I start to get annoyed and regret not picking up his calls. I should've picked it up and asked for his reason. It could've been important but why would he call me. He has Mary now.
"What an ass," I thought.
I sigh and stop eating and look at the couple in front of me. I realise they were both staring at me and I began to felt uncomfortable.
"What?" I say coldly.
"Who's an ass?" Hoseok says worriedly and my eyes widen.
"Did I say that out loud?" I say and they both nod.
"So again, who's an ass?" Lynh says and I puff my cheeks.
"I was just thinking about stuff," I say.
"Stuff like Xiumin?" Hoseok says.
"He called me before but I didn't pick up," I say and Lynh raises her eyebrows.
"Why not?" She says.
"I don't know. I guess I just didn't feel like it?" I say with a shrug. Before they start asking morec questions I quickly interrupt them with a yawn.
"I'm tired, we should go home now. I'm pretty sure us students," I say pointing my finger at Hoseok and I. "Need some sleep because finals are coming up and education is very important."
The two look at each other and know that I don't want to talk about it anymore. They start to get up and Lynh closes up the shop and we all leave.
We dropped off Hoseok first before going back to our own house. Once we reach the house, we both got out the car and before we entered the house, Lynh looks at me and softly grabs my hand.
"You know I'm here for you right?" She says and I smile and nod. "You can always tell me what's wrong."
She opens the door and we're both surprised to see our parents but what surprised me more was that my mum was crying.
"Mum what's wrong?" I say and we both run over to her to comfort her.
"Your grandma," she says and starts to cry harder.
Lynh and I look at each other worriedly and my father just stood there with a blank face. It was silent for a while before my mother broke the silence and said a few words that made my heart shatter.
"Your grandma passed away."
