Hoseok

I walked to school the next morning still thinking about yesterday. I slightly smiled at the memory and hummed the song I was listening to quietly. One of my favourite songs came up next which was Kyuhyun's "One Million Pieces" as I walked past a coffee shop. I took a quick glance at the store and my smile brightened. I saw her. Lynh. I was going to walk in to greet her but then stopped myself. I became nervous and shy. I quickly walked away and headed off to school. She made me happy.

FLASHBACK TO YESTURDAY

"I still love you. Will you date me again?"

"W-what?" she says softly and looks up at me with wide eyes.

"Lynh, will you date me again?" I say again as I watch her slightly blush as tears formed in her eyes.

"R-really?" she stutters and slightly smiles. Her smile quickly goes away as realisation hits her.

"I can't. I can't do that again to you," she whispers.

"If you really love me you'll take me back, please. I'll always wait for you. My heart is only for you," I say and she looks at her hands which are the table.

"Aren't you afraid I'll make the same mistake as last time?" I shake head and lean forward to take her hands into mine.

"No, I'll make sure you have no worries and doubts about me. I'll make sure to give you love every day. I'll make sure you have hope in me.  If you really love me, our age gap won't matter because it's just a number. A number telling you how many years you've lived but not with me," I re-quote what I had once said to her a year ago. My first confession to her. She looks up at me with teary eyes and slightly smiles.

"Okay," she whispers. I look at her with a big smiles.

"R-really?" I say and she slowly nods.

I jump up from my seat and run to her side, carrying her off her chair. I wrap my arms around her and hold her tightly. She leans her head on my chest and holds me. I wanted to stay likes this forever.

"I won't break your heart again," she whispers and smiles.

"Neither will I," I say and let go of her, already missing her warmth.

I intertwine her hand with mine and pull her out of the store. We walk around the streets talking about the year we had missed with each other. I couldn't be any happier than this. She really was my source of happiness and I hope I am for her.

The sky starts to get darker and we both decide we should go home. On our way to her car, it starts to rain heavily. I hold her hand tighter and we both start running to her car. We stand under a shelter by her car and look at the sky.

She leans her head on my shoulder and I look down at her face. She was slightly smiling and had small drops of rain all over her face. I chuckle and turn her so was facing me. She was slightly shocked and started blushing. I softly cup her cheeks and look at her face. I wipe her cheeks and softly laugh.

She still looked the same as before but smaller because I much taller than her now. I smile and lean my face close to hers and kiss the raindrops off her face. I kiss the rain off her forehead first, then her nose and then her eyes. I stop and pull my head back to look at her. She looks into my eyes and I smile and softly brush her cheeks with my fingers. I take one hand off her cheek to hold one her hands and the other to hold her chin to keep her looking at me.

"Can I?" I ask her knowing that she knew what I  meant.

She blushes and slowly nods. I lean closer to her face and see her eyes closing. I slowly close my eyes and softly brush my lips against her. We stay like that for a moment and I pull away. We both blush and look away from each other.

I wrap my arms around her waist and rest my head on top of hers.

"I'll never let you go," I say and she laughs.

"Let's go home. You have school tomorrow," she says and we both go to her car.

She goes on the driving side and I have to admit, this was probably the least romantic thing for a guy. A girl driving a guy home just doesn't sound right but once I get my license, I'll drive her to where happiness brings us.

We reach my house and I unbuckle my seat belt and look at her. She turns to me and lifts and eyebrow.

"Aren't you going to get out the car?" she says and laughs.

I laugh and quickly peck her lips. I pull back and her eyes widen. She blushes and looks away from me. I chuckle and say good-bye to her. I hear her mutter good-bye before I leave the car. I walk into my house with a bright smile. My heart can't stop beating. I go to bed that night thinking about the whole day wishing she could be in my arms again. I couldn't be any happier.
