Truc
"I don't know how I didn't notice your friend before. He's been at the same school as me since middle school and I still don't remember him," I said as I tried to recall memories of seeing him before.
I still couldn't remember him. We had just walked past one of our seniors whose name I think was Yoongi. He was apparently very close friends with Hoseok and has been at the same school as me for I don't know how long. I don't know how I didn't notice him. He has really bright coloured mint green hair and has really, really pale skin, yet I still didn't notice him in the school halls.
Hoseok just shrugged and continued walking. I had been walking around town with him for almost 2 hours already. I felt so bad for bailing on Xiumin but at the same time I was having a lot of fun with Hoseok. I learnt that he had an older sister who moved overseas to study and both of his parents work a lot so he doesn't see them a lot.
"How about you? Do you have any siblings," Hoseok asked quickly to change the subject.
"I have an older sister who's 4 years older than me. She owns a really nice fried chicken store. We have to go there some time," I said as I started to crave for her fried chicken.
Thinking about it made my stomach grumble and I looked down and blushed. 'Ah shit this is embarrassing' I thought and heard Hoseok laugh quietly.
"Cute," I heard him quietly mumble. My eyes went wide and I started to go even redder.
"Let's go feed your stomach somewhere. Any good places around?" he said.
I looked around and saw my favourite bubble tea store that was connected to an ice cream store.
"There," I pointed. "It sells the best bubble tea and ice cream. We have to go there."
"Oh Truc!" I looked over to the counter and saw my rainbow haired friend, Sehun waving at me. I smiled and walked over to the counter.
"The usual?" He said with a wink which made me roll my eyes.
"Sehun! Stop flirting with the customers and go back to work," a woman walked over to Sehun and slapped his arm a bit and rolled her eyes.
"Whatever," he mumbles and takes my money and begins to my make my order.
I waited for my drink and realised that I hadn't seen Hoseok since I had walked into the store. I started to panic and looked around the store. I saw him ordering ice cream on the other side of the store. I sighed and relief and turned back and waited for my order.
A few seconds later I felt a nudge on my shoulder and looked over to see Hoseok holding a small tub of ice cream with different flavours in a plastic bag. Looking at the different colours made my mouth water.
"I didn't know which flavour you liked so I just ordered multiple flavours," he said with a smile.
"Ah, you didn't have to do that," I said feeling slightly guilty. "I'll pay you back I promise."
"Nah, don't worry. You don't need to after all you were the one who gave me tour around here. You did a pretty job," he said giving me a thumbs up.
"Truc!" I looked up and saw Sehun holding my drink. He winked at me and I rolled my eyes and grabbed my drink.
"Where's Xiumin?" he said while looking around the store for him.
"I'm here with someone else today," I said with a reassuring smile.
"Who's the guy you're with?" Sehun said whilst glaring at Hoseok.
"A new student at my school. I offered to take him around here because he's new and all. Don't worry so much." I said and ruffled his hair.
"I better see you and Xiumin tomorrow," Sehun said with a small pout. I chuckled and waved good-bye to him.
I sat down in a small booth with Hoseok sitting in front of me. He took the ice cream out of the plastic bad along with two plastic spoons. He held the spoon in front of me and gave me a smile.
"You don't mind sharing do you?" Hoseok said.
"Nup," I said as I started to eat the chocolate ice cream. It instantly melted in my mouth making my stomach jump in joy.
"You're very different from most girls," he said as he the vanilla ice cream. I rolled my eyes and I looked at him.
"Typical girl?" I said to him with an eyebrow up. "I'm not that kind of girl and I am definitely not a girly one."
We started talking about different things. We were able to make conversation really well which made things less awkward for us.
Soon, the sky was getting darker and we decided to go home. 'Hoseok ain't a bad guy' I thought.
I continued walking home without realising that someone was behind me.
