Naley & The Four Years Missed

June 16th

The sound of wind hitting the apartment windows, and a babies cry echoing all throughout. Haley got up and hit Nathan's bare chest.
"Your turn." She murmured half asleep
Nathan groaned and threw his side of the covers off and walked to his newborns room.
"Little man, why are you crying every hour?" He asked as the baby continued to cry.
Nathan reached down to pick him up, then he walked him down to Haley and set him down next to her and he stopped crying. The next morning Haley woke up and waited for Nathan to do the same, when he opened his eyes she raised her finger to her lips and told him to be quiet. Nathan propped his head up with his arm to get a better view of his wife.
"I can't believe we are high school graduates." Nathan said in awe
"High school graduates I can't believe we are parents." She challenged
Nathan chuckled and looked down at his baby.
"James is sleepy" he said in a babyish voice ticking his stomach
"James is so serious." Haley added
Nathan looked down at her with a confused expression.
"I mean don't get me wrong I love the name it's just that he's a baby, he needs a nickname, so he can grow into it." She explained
"Well got any ideas Ms. valedictorian?" He joked
"Nathan" she smiled
"Okay fine what about jack?"
"Eh it's not really that close to his name" she said tossing out his suggestion
"Well we could always call him jimmy." He said
"But he needs to be his own person not my dad." She pleaded
"Don't worry about it Hales it will come to us naturally."
"Your right." She said closing her eyes
"Your going back to sleep?" he asked eagerly
"Got any better ideas?" She asked with her eyes remaining closed
"well you see we have this other room next-door and I was thinking that the baby is asleep and you're looking pretty sexy in your cupcake pajamas..."
"Nathan we can't we have to wait six weeks." She said logically
"Ugh how much longer!?" He asked throwing his pillow over his face
"Well let's see as if today five weeks and four days." She answered
Nathan threw his pillow off his face and onto the floor then looked at James.
"Dude your killing my vibe." He joked
"Jamie!!!" She said hysterically yelling and getting up from the bed only to run to the other side and jump on top of Nathan.
"We can call him Jamie!" She said once more
"I like it." He smiled and then pulled her in for a passionate kiss
"Haleyyyyyy" he whined with there lips still touching
"Five weeks." She said sternly as he groaned
"And four days." She added
Nathan groaned even louder
