My eyes scanned the room as quick as Usain Bolt on the hundred meters, the thought of what my brother had done was gutting away at me from the inside out I was so ashamed, embarrassed this time he really has shocked me, I knew he could stoop low but not that low. That’s bad even for him. He needs help serious help. The thought of him having my niece and nephew kills me, especially when Maize isn’t well, he doesn’t know how to cope with Maize if she has a heart palpitation. I gripped Jess’s hand tighter as I saw loads of shady people, it’s scary because anyone could notice us even with shades and a hat on, we just have to keep our heads down and hope no one recognises us I guess. Then that was it the sight I wanted to see was there, Mason and Maize in Kyles arms I pull Jess over to him, he looks startled. When I grab Maize and Jess grabs Mason. He instantly stands trying to grab them but soon gives in when he sees the look in my eye. This will be the last time I express my feeling to him because I'm fed up of wasting my breath over him but iver this he needs to hear it.
Danny: How, fucking dare you think you could just take them, as far as I'm concerned these aren’t yours Maize is ill you sick bastared anything could have happened, you EVER come anywhere near my family ever again that’s it you’ll know what you’ll have coming, I HATE you don’t call me your brother. I saw as he swallowed the lump in his throat, you could tell what Jess just said sunk in and made him think..of shit, he just walked off not thinking twice. I'm so proud of my! Wife right now the way she just said that from her heart and the way he listened to her. Makes me realise even more why I married her she and the girls are my life. I kiss her lips as he walks away and we take each other’s hands taking, Mason and Maize back to the car, it’s lucky we have car seats. Me and Jess put them in the car and then went to our seats, as soon as I started the car I smiled at jess and kissed her once again.
Danny: I'm so proud of you, the way you buckled up like that Jess you made him listen, he was scared of you it made me laugh.
Jessie: yeah but it’s true, it does take any guy with a dick to have a baby but it takes a man to be a father. And also he’s not just putting your name to shame anymore, that was bad enough but now it’s mine yours Rosie and Shaya’s, I'm not having that put in the papers when we haven’t done anything, in fact we’ve done everything we can to stop him.

I peck Jess’s lips and pull away from the ferry port. we drive the hour back and get out of the car getting the kids out as well Jess has Maize in her arms and I have Mason in mine. We wrap them both in Rosie and Shaya’s blankets so that they didn’t get too cold. We rush into Holly and Glens not knocking they don’t knock either to be honest. We go into the front room and see Clair with her head down crying still, I don’t blame her. Jess goes over to her and put her hand on her shoulder and she looks up right, jumping up as she sees Mason and Maize, she takes Maize off of Jess and hugs her, not to tight mind. And then she takes Mason hugging him as well she then Passes them to Holly and Glen and hugs me and Jess.
Clair: thank you so much, I thought I’d lost them for good
Danny: what kind of friends would we be if we didn’t help, I'm so ashamed of him
Clair: where was he
Jessie: Ferry port, I told him to get lost and never come back, surprisingly he listened and just walked away without another word.
Clair: I can thank you guys enough
Danny: it’s no bother, they are our niece and nephew as well you know
Clair: I know
Jessie: so where are Rosie and Shaya
Holly: upstairs sleeping
Jessie: aha ok they been ok Yeah?
Holly: yeah of course they have good as gold
Glen: Clair: I think you need to move house
Clair: I've been looking for a while
Holly: number 14 few doors down from us is for sale went on the Market like yesterday
Jessie: oh yeah I seen that forgot to mention it
Clair: I will look, better than him knowing where we live, just when I was starting to move on..
