The eight of us leave for the next bush tucker trial soon enough.

"You've got this Connie." Carol says as she hugs me goodbye. "For the yellows." she says as I nod and smirk.

"I'll make you proud. Promise." I say.

"Bye!" Larry and Wayne shout as we all head to the clearing.

I follow the team there in our new coloured shirts. Blue and yellow of course.

"As I said when we met Richards. Your going down." Joel says jokily pulling me in for a side hug.

"And as I said Dommett, I don't play by the rules."

To this I grab his hat off his head and run in front of everyone.

"Go on Con! Run girl!" Adam shouts cheering us on. I'm chased around a tree as whichever way he runs, I run the other. Eventually I run round, and Wayne holds me still as Joel comes and lifts me up into a fireman's hold over his shoulder and I'm carried upside down to just outside the clearing.

We arrive at the trial. A massive box with 4 compartments, 2 blue and 2 yellow stand in front of us. There are two seats in each box, and pipes leading from the box on top to the bottom.

"Celebrities, the hungry games continue! It's time to get hands on some jungle critters as you go head to head in the second part of today's trial : catch a falling critter. The winning team will eat this evening. The other team will be on basic rations. 2 members of each team will sit in the upper box. They must catch the critters and put them through the pipes leading to the lower box where the other 2 team mates will sit. They have to catch the critters from the pipe and post them into the box in front of them. Whoever's box weighs the most at the end of the trial wins. Good luck!" I read out.

I look up at the boxes. The worn out seats look as if we sit on them they will fall apart. My stomach fills with butterflies, but not the good kind as I feel anxiety start to kick in.

"You'll be fine Connie." Lisa says to me as well as everyone else and she comes and gives me a comforting side hug. "Your an Olympian." She adds. "If you can win a gold medal, you can do anything. Just remember that."

We are guided into our boxes. I've been allocated the top box as has Wayne. I climb in after him, and sit on the old worn seats as the ranger locks the door behind us. It stinks in this box, the yellow paint chipping off the walls and pipes coming from each corner of the room. There are already some bugs in here, but I don't worry about them. There's going to be a lot more in a moment.

"You ok Connie?" I hear Joel shout from the box underneath and diagonal to me.

"I'm good." I say, a shake in my voice. Wayne rests his hand on my knee and looks me in the eyes.

"We've  got this." Wayne whispers as I sense the fear in his voice too. I take a deep breath and nod. I remember what Lisa said. I can do this.

"Yeah, I'm good too thanks Joel!" Adam shouts from the box beneath me.

"There just flirting Adam, don't worry about it!" Jordan comments from the same yellow box as Adam underneath us.

"You better be glad your not in the same box as me guys." Joel exclaims at them as they just I hear them both cackling underneath us.

The clackson sounds. Its loud and alarming, making Wayne jump next to me. I adjust my goggles and hold my hands up above the pipe on the ceiling.

"Why is nothing coming out?" Scarlett screams from the box adjacent.

"This is a great game!" I hear Joel say as I just smile at his attitude and wit.

The first bugs come out. Mealworms. I let out a little gasp as I pick them up and place them down the shoot hurriedly. They slither in your hands and I see that there are a few cockroaches too, as they slide down the shoot and land on me and Wayne. I hear him scream a couple of times that make me smile.
