Joel P.O.V

"I, Joel Dommett, take you, Connie Richards, to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward; for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part, according to God's holy law. In the presence of God I make this vow." I say as I stare into my beautiful partners blue eyes.

Connie looks beautiful today, just like any other day. Her wedding dress is stunning as well as her bridesmaids dresses. I will never forget for the rest of my life, her walking the isle with her mum and dad. She took my breath away with her beauty. Her bridesmaids, Sam Quek, Scarlett Moffatt, Lisa and Carol, her sister Kayla, her cousins Annie and Brooklyn and the flower girl, my niece Mel. They all look incredible in baby pink dresses.

The ushers, Adam Peaty, Wayne Bridge, Jordan Banjo, my brother Daniel, Connie's brother Ben and Connie's coach Thomas.

The Maid of Honour, Jazz Carlin and the Best Man, Adam Thomas. The venue is outside on a beautiful day, a white carpet with white cloth overhangs with beautiful brown embroidery. http://www.hotelabq.com/sites/hotelabq.com/files/website/Hero/Hotel-Albuquerque-Old-Town-Weddings-Venues.jpg (If you would like to see the picture.)

"You may now kiss the bride." The vicar tells me as I turn and take her waist, planting a kiss on her lips as everyone applauds and cheers.

We walk down the aisle together, and are followed by Jazz and Adam, and then the bridesmaids and ushers. As soon as we get to the end of the aisle, I open the door to the Rolls Royce and my beautiful wife climbs in.

I jump in the other side and we are driven to the beautiful hotel where we are having our reception.

"I love you so much, Connie Dommett." I say to her as I kiss her longingly.

"I love you too Joel, my amazing husband." She replies.

We make it soon enough to our hotel, and we sit at the head table after different wedding photos and such.

I eat my dinner next to my beautiful bride, sharing the table with our parents and the Maid of honour and best man.

"And now, can everyone please listen to a speech from the Groom, Joel Dommett." The wedding organizer announces.

I stand up with my piece of paper and squeeze Connie's hand as I look over all the circular tables.

"Before I start, we just wanna say thank you to everyone who is hear today helping celebrate our special day. I know some people travelled miles here and I'm so thankful you did. It's an honour for you to come so we can pay for your flights." I sarcastically as the guests start to laugh.

"You will be the envy of all your friends when you head home after today, as you are all about to witness a unique event in history. The very first, and very last time that my new wife is going to let me speak on behalf of both of us. Connie, we met in a way that I never thought we would. In the middle of the Australian Jungle, where we ate cockroaches, slept on the floor, cried, laughed, and absolutely wreaked. I spent my time with 11 incredible people who I'm so grateful to share today with. Connie Dommett, we've spent some incredible time together, from travelling London, to the Olympic Games, to laughing at Adam Thomas in a shack in the middle of nowhere, and I wouldn't change any of it. Your my rock, my beauty, my everything, but most incredibly, my wife." I say. Adam says his speech after I've finished about our times in the jungle, as well as Connie's Dad makes a speech too.

Finally, we get to the speech from the Maid of Honour, Jazz.

"Firstly, congratulations on your special day mr and mrs Dommett. It's amazing to see that both of you are so happy together. Connie, you are absolutely incredible, an I'm honoured to be your chief bridesmaid on your very special day. We've known each other since I was 2 and you were 4. We played together and loved each other so much. It was one day that we went on holiday together, and discovered the swimming pool. It just made our friendship stronger. And to be by your side, competing in the Olympic Games and winning gold for our country, that is one bloody great achievement girl. When you met Joel in the jungle, it was so exciting to see you on TV all the time, finally getting along with a brilliant guy. To now see that you've moved in together and are getting married, it's so sweet to see you love each other." Jazz says. We all cheers, placing our glasses against one another's as she finishes our speech.

3 hours later...

"And now," the DJ announces to all of our guests in the large hall that was blaring with music just a second ago, "it's time for the first dance for the bride and groom."

I grab my partners hand and lead her to the dance floor, the bridesmaids lining up by the side of us.

I lay my hands on her waist as she places hers on my shoulders. I pull her slim figure close to mine, trying not to step on her trail.

"What song did you pick then?" She asks me. Connie let me pick our wedding song, which was a huge honour for me to do, and so much pressure as well.

"I know you'll love it baby." I say as she raises her eyebrows as I just laugh.

The music starts playing, and as soon as it does, I can see that Connie recognises it. She breaks into a massive smile as we sway to the beat.

"Good choice." She smiles. I love it when she smiles, it just makes me happy to see her so happy.

"Time beats fast, colours and promises."

A thousand years, by Christina Perri. It was the song that we had our first dance to in the jungle.

"You remember the Jungle Arms?" I ask her.

"Carol put this song on didn't she? It was our first ever dance." She tells me.

"I'm so happy I'm your husband." I tell her as I pull her close to me.

"I'm so happy I'm your wife." She says as we both giggle to ourself.

"Oh just kiss her already!" The DJ pleads over the speaker to which we just giggle and I kiss my lovely wife gently.

For the rest of the night, we dance, laugh, drink and have loads of fun as one by one our guests leave to go home, leaving the hall almost empty.

"Thank you for coming guys." I say to Ant and Dec as they hug me and Connie goodbye.

"No problem. I'm so happy your still together ever since the jungle back in 2016." Dec says.

"Congrats you two." Ant says as he kisses my wife on the cheek goodbye as does Dec.

Soon enough, me and Connie head up to the couples bedroom. I shut the door as she walks into the room and spins around looking at how beautiful it is. The bed is massive and gorgeous, with rose petals shaped like a heart spread on the bed. I walk onto our balcony that over looks our whole hotel and masses of lovely fields, even though it's hard to see in the darkness.

I walk back in and take my shoes off, placing them next to Connie's heels.

"Babe, can you unzip my dress please?" Connie asks me. I move her curled hair out of her neckline, swinging it over her shoulder. I unzip her dress and let it fall off her body and in to a heap on the floor.

She stands there with her slim figure and I pull her close, kissing down her neck as I remove remove my jacket.

She turns around to face me and unbuttons my shirt, letting it fall to the floor, revealing my chest that she runs her hands down smoothly.

We undress each other fully, placing ourself onto the bed and moving with each other, loving each other, and sleeping together as the night turns bright and the sun is revealed to a new day.

A new day where two people that live are the new Mr and Mrs Dommett.
