Wicked windmill

We both walk into the clearing. I look over immediately to see a giant windmill like frame, 2 blades above and below each other. In the blades are straps, and it's all organised as a narrow cuboid.

"Hey boys." I say joyfully.

"Why hello." Dec says as we appear through the clearing. Me and Joel stand side by side, just looking over their shoulders at the contraption we are gonna be put in.

"So how are you two?" Dec says casually.

"Shocked." Joel says.

"Yeah, I never thought that Sam would go this morning." I add.

"So why you two?" Ant asks.

"I needed to get out of camp really." I say.

"Yeah, I mean Connie took Sam leaving this morning pretty hard, so I thought I'll come to keep her company." Joel says as I take his hand, squeeze it quickly and let it go. I mouth he word 'thanks' at him and he just smiles back at me.

"What's it like being the only girl left Connie." Dec asks me.

"Even though you don't have a girl by your side to talk to, it's ok really. I mean, most of the boys are pretty fit anyway, so I have my form of entertainment." I joke making Ant and Dec laugh. Joel turns and gives me a side hug.

"Yeah I guess I'm pretty fit." Joel says proudly, popping his chest out and placing his hands on his hips, making me laugh as well.

"Ok so shall we tell you what the trial is then?" Dec asks.

"Go for it." I say.

"So this is Wicked Windmill. What's going to happen is you will both be strapped in. We will put seven stars into the windmill, all numbered, and it will start to spin. We will ask you general knowledge questions, and when you get one right, you must search around for the stars in number order, so when you answer the first one correct you look for the star with number one on, and then when you answer the second correct you try and find the star with number two and so on. You must then hold the star up so we can see it, and then put it in your pouch."

"Ok, I guess that's alright." I say.

"However," Dec says, "this is a bush tucker trial, so it wont be that easy. You will be joined with some jungle critters in there, but there will also be 40 stars without numbers on. Seven of you in camp so that's seven stars to win. Do you wanna do it?" Ant asks us.

"Yeah! Lets do it!" I exclaim.

"Why not." Joel says giving me a side hug as we walk over. I put my hair up in a pony tail, and climb the stairs into the top blade. I then put my goggles on, and I'm strapped in by some rangers.

"Ok guys, your in place so lets start loading the critters in." Ant says. All of a sudden, these stinky, moving creatures land on my head and seem to not stop coming.

"That's 1,000 mealworms, 5,000 crickets, and 10,000 cockroaches in there now." Ant tells us.

"Oh my god." I scream as they keep appearing, making their way into my clothes.

"You alright Connie?" I hear Joel ask from beneath me, these all landing on his head too.

"Yeah." I say. "A cockroach has just gone down my bra!" I shout.

"Lucky bugger." Joel says cheekily.

I feel something crawl into my left ear. Something big, but all of a sudden I cant hear a thing, and I get little sensations deep inside it. I tilt my head to the side and bang it against my hand, but it doesn't help much.
