That night...

"I am sooo full." Joel tells me as he leans back in his wooden chair and rests his hands on his stomach.

We just finished our banquet. Even though it was incredible, and my stomach is now full of chicken salad, bacon burgers, cheesecake and wine, I'm starting to feel the after affect.

"God, I need to lay down." I moan as I pull my chair out from under the wooden table, coated with a white table cloth. I walk over to Martin's old bed and lay down, staring up at the stars.

"It's so tasty, but I'm so full." Adam whines as Joel sits up and takes his spoon, picking up a scoop of the trifle he ordered.

"Here comes the choo choo train. Let it go down the tunnel and into the station." Joel jokes, waving the dessert around in front of his face.

"The station is about to explode mate!" He whines as he takes it in his mouth, and Joel just drops the spoon and pulls his chair out, coming to lay beside me.

"It honestly feels like I've just digested twice my body mass in junk food." I say as Joel stares up into the sky whilst he lays beside me.

"What a great way to finish off our time here." Joel whispers as all his effort to do anything seems to have vanished.

"We should probably start packing up actually." Adam says as he leans over the top of us. He then disappears out of my sight as I stare up at the black night.

"Yeah." I say as I tap Joel's leg. "We better start packing."

I sit myself up slowly, letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding. I walk up to my bed, the one beside Joel's and above Adam's. I pick up the clothes that are scattered around my bed, the underwear and shorts and t-shirts. As I'm rummaging through, I find the black and white dress I was wearing when we entered the jungle. I hold it up in front of me. It brings back a gush of the memories of the city trial, when I was paired with Sam, and when I met everyone for the first time.

I stuff it into the bottom of my bag as well as all my other clothes. I keep my toothbrush out though for tomorrow morning, although the chances of me forgetting it is pretty high.

"Do we need to bring up the others stuff?" Joel says as he sorts his dirty clothes out in the hammock beside mine.

"Probably." I say as I dump my now full bag back into my hammock. I walk over to some of the beds that occupy stuff the other campmates have left behind. I then take a hike up to the bush telegraph where I drop it all off, and stroll back to camp, admiring the sights around me as it will be one of the final times I see them.

"We're packed." Joel says as him and Adam sit silently on opposite sides of the fire. The camp looks plain.

"Me too." I say as I take my seat next to Joel. "I can't get my head around it. I mean, we have to leave tomorrow." I say.

"I know. It's crazy. I've become so familiar with this camp." Joel says to me.

"I've loved everyday in here. No matter how many bugs, no matter how hungry, I've had a great time." Adam says.

"There have been hard times, but would I do it again? As long as nothing changed, especially the people, then, definitely." I say.

"And tomorrow morning, one of us is going to win this thing." Joel says.

I sit around the campfire, and just think about the incredible times we've had together. I think about it from start to finish.
