Y/N's PoV

That went well I guess. I mean, they didn't throw me out or hurt me so, win-win situation right? I guess. At least this room is quite nice. Although this room isn't nearly as nice as my room back at the pack house. I miss my family, my dad, mom and annoying brothers. I was so lost in thought until one of whimpers broke me out of it. I'm so homesick that my wolf is even reacting to it, hopefully the.. Issues will go away soon, so I can go back home and patiently wait for my mate. Speaking of which, I have yet to figure out this feeling towards Damian. Hmm. Is it even possible for werewolves to mate outside their pack? I've herd a few cases, but they were all to other magical creatures, not humans. Maybe I'm misunderstanding my feelings, I should really ask my brothers for help. These feelings can't possibly the feelings I think they are right? I let out numerous grunts of frustration because I have no idea what this feeling could be!

"Damian's right. We should tell her at dinner"

What was that? Is it just me or am I losing it? What is happening to me? Whose thoughts are these?

'It's nearing dinner, should I go get Y/N?' Another voice thought, that doesn't belong to me. Focusing all my energy on this... Whatever this is. As my breathing steadies, I feel myself delving deeper into this person's mind. I start seeing flashbacks, thoughts, moments in this person's mind. I'm in Damian's mind, I can see his childhood with the league of assassins, I can see and hear his thoughts and his identity as Robin. Okay, this is definitely not normal for a me! I really need to call my brothers and ask them about this, thankfully at least 1 of my brothers have found their mates. His name is Casey, he's 20 years old and he's been with his mate for nearly 4 years. I'm sure he'd have some kind of clue.

"Y/N, it's time for dinner."
What if it is...? I mean, Damian could be my mate...

"Y/N? Are you ready for dinner?"

It could be possible, I mean no one ever said it was impossible...

"Y/N! Are you alright? Your pacing around the room, and I called out to you but you were to lost in thought." Damian asks, standing in the doorway looking concerned. I blushed, realizing he saw me and was worried about me. He'd be such a good mate.

"Uh, Yeah, I'm okay don't worry." I say, nervous. Gah, all I want to do is run my hand through his dark silky hair....

"Come Y/N, dinner is ready." He says walking off.

'Y/N looks so cute when she's shy.' Damian's voice ringing trough my mind, which only makes me blush even more. We walk down to dinning room where everyone's at. I see them all sitting down on really expensive chairs, and looking all fancy.

"Uhm, do you guys have a phone I could use?" I ask hoping they say yes, I could just use my mind link and talk to my family that way, but that takes concentration and it'll seem like something's wrong.

"Actually," Bruce started, "We got you a cell phone, we figured you'd need one" He finished. They got me a cell phone?!

"Really?!" I say letting my enthusiasm show.

"Yes, your number is 613 *** ***." Dick says.

"T-Thank you so much!" I say with probably the one of the biggest smiles I will ever have in my life.

"Do you mind if I call someone before we eat?" I ask.

"Not at all, go right ahead." Bruce says, letting a small smile show. Taking my new cell phone in hand, I walk into the hallway to call my dad. I quickly dial his number in the keypad and wait for him to pick up. After 3 rings he does, and he sounds very angry.

"Who are you, how'd you get this number and what do you want?!" He screams into the phone.

"Y/N, I memorized all your numbers and I wanted to call you." I say like a total smart-ass.

"Y/N! I'm sorry Princess, I didn't realize it was you!" Dad says.

"It's alright Dad, I miss you. When can I come home?"

"I'm sorry Princess, but it's too dangerous right now. We all miss you too!" He says trying to cheer me up. Key word: trying. "Where are you? Did you find somewhere safe?" Dad asks, probably trying to change the subject.

"Yeah, I did. I'm staying with at Wayne manor, don't worry though, they've been really kind to me." I say, knowing the amount of worry my dad's feeling. "Anyway, can you put Casey on the line?"

"Of course Princess, I love you and can't wait for you to come back!"

"I love you too Dad." A few moments of silence and rustling later.

"Y/N?" I hear Casey say.

"Yeah, it's me."

"Oh my god, Y/N you don't know how worried you made me! Never do that again!" Casey yells through the phone seemingly angry, but I know better. He was just scared for my well being.

"I'm sorry Case, but you know the situation."

"It sucks, I miss my lil' sis." He says, I can practically hear his pouting through the phone.

"I know, I know but at least your lil' sis misses you!" I say. "Hey Case, can I ask you something?"

"Shoot." He responds.

*After explaining the weirdness of things happening to me*

"So, that's it?"

"Yeah. I don't know what's wrong with me!" I say my frustration from earlier coming back.

"I don't know what to say, I've never herd about this happening." He says, not telling me anything.

"What?" I ask confused.

"Look, I don't mean to scare you. Buuuuuut," He ends. " I think you might've found your mate."

"Casey!"

"I don't know what to say, I mean. I've never thought it was possible for a wolf to mate to a human." He says bluntly. "Tell ya what. Before you do anything about these feeling, I'll ask around the pack, and do some research, Okay?"

"Okay, but-"

"No buts Y/N. Don't do anything about these feelings yet. The problem is already really bad, don't need to make it worse by adding your mate into this."

"Casey! He's not my mate!"

"Yet...Not yet.Oh crap! Y/N, I gotta go! Stay safe, I'll tell everyone you miss them! Love you, lil' sis! Later!" He says cutting the conversation short.

"Okay, I love you too! Bye-" I barely say, before he hangs up. At least Casey's going to help me about this. Better head back, time for a very awkward dinner.
