"I love you too, Dami. More than you may ever know..."

I mumble those words before falling into a deep sleep. This time, with no nightmares.

*Few days later*

After breakfast, and after a clam morning with Damian, he heads off the school. Although, not before giving me a kiss. I will never stop blushing at this rate. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if my hair or fur turned pink and red. It'd honestly be really cute.

"Hey, Y/n?" I turn around and see Tim there.

"What's up Tim? Don't you have to go to school?"

"I do. I just wanted to see if you were okay."

"I'm great Tim."

"Are you sure? How did you sleep last night?"

"Right, that. I... uh, had another nightmare, but it's fine now." He gives me a skeptical look, before giving me a smile.

"Glad you're feeling better. I'll see you later,"

"Bye Tim!" I cheerfully say, although, I'm pretty sure it's forced cheerfulness. I miss home more than ever now. I should ask Damian about meeting my family, I'm sure he'd love too. I mean, it's not like he has much of a choice. My brothers and Dad would love to track him down and meet him, more than meeting him the normal way.

Then, my phone starts ringing. It's Alex.

"Hey, Alex. What's going on?" I say, leaning against the wall.

"Y/n?" That's not Alex.

"Alec? What are you doing with Alex's phone?"

"Um, listen, Y/n, I need you to not freak out...."

"Freak out? What are you talking about?"

"I need you to calm down, and take a deep breath."

"Calm down? Just tell me what's happened!" I hate it when they do this.

"Okay, well. Alex is in the hospital, but don't worry! It's nothing serious! He just got into a little fight with another pack member. He'll be fine, he's a strong guy, he'll make it out alive. Don't worry! Everything will be- Y/n? You still there?"

I don't respond.

"Y/n? You're starting to worry me..."

Still, nothing.

"Y/N! IF YOU'RE DYING DON'T SAY ANYTHING!"

"Alec, I'm not fine, but I'm not dying. I'm coming home." I say, absolutely determined to come home, whether they like it or not.

"WAIT! No, there is no need for you to come home."

"Last time, I wasn't there, someone I loved died. I'm not letting that happen again!"

"Hey! Don't be upset sis, I didn't mean it like that. Besides, mom would be proud of you."

"I know it's just, things haven't been the best here. I met some people, and they haven't exactly welcomed me with open arms. I'm still coming home though."

"Aw. I'm sorry sis. If you're coming home, you should, y'know, bring Damian with you." Why did I see that coming? Of course he would want to meet Damian.

"Yeah, I will. He's in school now, but once he's done, I'll bring him home. But, I'm still coming now."

"Yes! Okay, either me or Casey will come and get you. I'll see you later lil' sis!" And, he hung up. I guess I have to get Damian to meet my family. I'll text him about it, see what he thinks.

'Hey, gotta ask you something. Text me?'

That should do, now, time to go home. Using the portal key, I open a gateway, and head home. When I get there, I see I'm standing in the middle of the forest. Again. I use my mind link, to let Alec and, or, Casey that I'm here.

'Hello....?'

'Hey, sis. I'm coming hold on.'

'Thanks Alec, is Alex okay?'

'Stop worrying. If you want, mind link him. He should be awake. I'm almost there.'

'Thanks Alec!'
