(A/N: Wasn't in the best mood. A tad sad, sorry. Also, picture of what the pack house should look like and song.)
Once back at the pack house, you got introduced to some members. Only the ones your father really trusted, which right now, was one. All the others were your brothers.
It was a her, Alice. She was kind and really nice, although she reminded me of someone I thought I knew. The rest of the day was spent with your brothers, in the forest, in your room and wandering about the house. Strangely, you didn't see much of your father.
You thought it was strange, you really did. You though you he loved you. When you asked your brothers about they would mutter you excuses such as 'he's busy' or 'working with the pack'.
                              "Casey?" You quietly asked.
He smiled at you, setting down the book he was reading. "What's up Y/n?" He asked you. Out of all your brothers, Casey was the one with the most composure around you. It wasn't a lot, but it was more than your other brothers.
"What's that?" You asked, pointing to a picture of you and your mother. Casey's eyes widen.
'Damn it! Forgot that one...' He thought.
"It's a picture of you and a friend that used to be here.." He smoothly lied.
You scrunched up your face, a part of you know it's a bald faced lie. "She looks so familiar." You simply stated, causing Casey to cold sweat. "Oh well..." You muttered after, walking back into the direction of the kitchen. Casey sighed, thankful you didn't press any further.
They weren't exactly sure how'd you react to the story of your mother. It was a sad one, and you already had a hard time grieving. You blamed yourself for it, all day and all night. Most nights you'd either wake up screaming or not sleep at all. During that time, training took up all your time. You wouldn't talk with anyone, and you'd barely eat.
It was like you were slowly killing yourself, and your family had to watch. It was torture on you and them.
When it was dinner, you all mostly sat in silence. Not saying much and focus on eating.
By the time night fall came, you'd all didn't talk. Didn't spend the evening playing around, playing games or binge watching cringy movies on Netflix with awful casting and horrible acting. Like you normally did. You guys loved doing that and see who would either cringe, laugh, or rant first.
When you got to your room, you opened up your phone to see some missed texts from Damian to you.
It was just the casual check in and seeing how you were. One thing you did notice was the contact name.
'Dami <3' It read. You furrowed your brows and decided to text him about it.
                              To Dami <3:
Why does your name have a heart next to it?
I set the phone down, not expecting to get a reply straight away. I do this, only to pick the phone back up not even two minutes later.
                              From Dami <3:
I guess we were that close of friends. How are you liking home?
                              To Dami <3:
It's okay. Doesn't feel like home though.
                              From Dami <3:
I'm sure you'll get used to it. Have a nice night.
Right, I'll get used to it. Although, that's not what I meant. This place does feel like home and it doesn't. It's hard to explain.
You know that feeling of being somewhere you know you belong, somewhere you should be only, something's missing from it? Everything seems in place, only it isn't. Nothing is.
