Nico was an incredibly reserved boy. Most people would feel threatened by him and turn away while he glared at them. But, much to Nico's frustration, that doesn't work on Will.
Will is the type of person to stick cat ears on the boy and call him the cuter version of grumpy cat. At the campfire. In front of people. It wasn't Nico's most dignified moment.
Will loved to tease Nico. He enjoyed making him so angry he started to trip over his own feet and stutter, face red, and the glint in his eyes showing just how livid he really was.
But there was one thing he desperately wanted, more than any of that. One thing he challenged himself to do.
He wanted to try and make Nico laugh
