After they had seen the others skulduggery and Valkyrie went back to the medical wing so kenspeckle could run a few more tests on skulduggery.

After about an hour kenspeckle came out into the corridor to give them the results. "It seems that you are only going to be like this for 2 days" he said. "I don't recommend you to drive. Ok?" Skulduggery pouted and crossed his arms. "But what about my darling Bentley?" He asked. "I'll drive us home" said Valkyrie. Skulduggery turned his head to her and smiled "thanks Val" he said. "You may also go through some mood swings like anger, sadness and embarrassment. Sorry Valkyrie but it looks like it's going to be a long two days for you" said kenspeckle and laughed. Valkyrie laughed too "I think I can manage" she said. "Good well you are not allowed to come to work so take it easy Ok?" Asked the professor and skulduggery nodded.

In the Bentley on the way home skulduggery began to fidget. "Skulduggery what are you doing?" Valkyrie asked while not taking her eyes of the road because she wasn't a good enough drive like skulduggery. He whimpered "I need the bathroom!" He moaned. "I really need to go! Valkyrie drive faster" he cried and crossed his legs and held his crotch. Valkyrie laughed "sorry Skully but we aren't going to be home for another 10 minutes" she said sadly. Skulduggery whimpered hitting his head on the back of his seat. "I guess this is one of the mood swings because you never do anything like this" Valkyrie said with a chuckle. Skulduggery just pouted and kept squirming in his seat.

When they got home skulduggery literally jumped out of the car and bolted to the door and fumbled around in his pocket for his keys. But when he couldn't find them he began to sulk. "Skulduggery you stupid man I have the keys. Remember? Your house keys are on your car Keys and I drove us home" she said with her hands on her hips. Skulduggery blushed a deep red "oh yeah. I'm sorry I'm being such a handful" he said and looked down at the ground. Valkyrie walked forward and cupped his face in her hands "Don't worry about it" she said. "Can you open the door?" Asked skulduggery and Valkyrie blushed and stepped back. "Oh yeah, sorry" she said and unlocked the door and then stood to the side to let skulduggery in. He rushed over to the bathroom and slammed the door shut. "Are you hungry? Because I could cook us something if you want?" Asked Valkyrie from the other side of the door. "Yes please" he said and then sighed in relief. Valkyrie giggled and walked into the kitchen.

At the dinner table Valkyrie lay down a plate of sausage and mash in front of her chair and skulduggery. "Here you go" she said with a smile and sat at the table next to him. "Wow. Thanks Val" he said and started eating. Valkyrie giggled and began eating her food. "So did you change your chosen name when you became a skeleton?" She asked out of pure curiosity. "Yeah I did. I thought because now I'm so fabulous and different I should have a unique name" he said. "What was your first chosen name?"
"Why do you wanna know?"
"Because I do"
"You are incredibly nosey"
"Yup. So what was your name"
"Your not going to stop until I tell you. Right?"
"Yup"
"Fine. My name used to be Felix hardom"
"Hardom?" She asked and laughed. "Ha ha very funny. I don't even know why I chose that I just randomly thought of it one day and thought that would be my name."

After dinner Valkyrie and skulduggery washed up and then went into the sitting room. Valkyrie went and sat on the sofa but skulduggery stayed by the doorway. "What's the matter?" Asked Valkyrie as she turned her head over to him. "Did you and fletcher ever you know?" he asked. "I don't know what you're on about"
"Well you know you and fletcher"
"Me and fletcher what?"
"Are you really going to make me say it?"
"Yes because I have no idea what your on about"
"Did you guys ever 'do it'?"
"Oh ok sorry. No we didn't" she said and smiled "I'm a virgin." But then she frowned "why?" Skulduggery blushed and rubbed the back of his head. "Well seeing as we are now together and I'm only like this for two days I thought I could give you something I wouldn't normally be able to do?" He asked slowly. Valkyrie blushed and looked at him almost like she were dazzed. "We don't have to!" He exclaimed and held out his hands in front of him. But Valkyrie jumped off of the sofa and jumped onto him. "I want to!" She said and they just stood there hugging for a bit. "Ok" he said after a while.

When they went upstairs they both went into skulduggery's bedroom. He shut the door and turned to Valkyrie who was sat on the bed looking a bit nervous. "Val are you ok?" He asked and went to join her on the bed. She smiled a small smile "yes. I guess I'm just nervous because this is my first time" she whispered into his ear just like if they were on a stage in front of millions of people. Skulduggery smiled and pulled her close to his side. "Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked. "Yes I do... Wait! We haven't had our first kiss yet!" She said and looked into those beautifully green eyes that reminded her of newly grown grass that had sprung at the begining of summer. He leaned forward halfway as Valkyrie leaned the other half until they lips brushed lightly against each other. They then closed their eyes and leaned into each other and fell into a perfect rhythm. Skulduggery began to lie down on the bed while taking Valkyrie with him by grabbing her waist. She fell on top of him and smiled against his lips.

After a few more moments they had to separate to get some air. Valkyrie laughed in between deep breaths and smiled at her boyfriend who lay panting underneath her. "I love you Valkyrie Cain" he stated and this just made Valkyrie smile more. "I love you too skulduggery pleasant" she said. He began to pull of her jacket and she began to undo his shirt.

When they had finished taking off each others clothes they were sat in their underwear gazing into each others eyes. Skulduggery's reached up and stroked her cheeks and tucked a strand of hair behind her ear while Valkyrie stroked his muscular chest. "Ready?" He asked. She grinned and nodded and jumped on top of him.

Skulduggery reached behind Valkyrie and started fumbling with her bra while she started pulling off his underwear. When he had undone the bra he flung it to the ground and went for her underwear. But first he looked up into her eyes and smiled softly smile. He smashed his lips on hers and at the same time flung the underwear away.

Skulduggery sat on top like when he was in the war and was riding a noble stead. Except the the horse wasn't the love of skulduggery's life like Valkyrie, with her dark hair and dark eyes that glistened in the moon light. Skulduggery slipped off of Valkyrie and then picked her up bridal style. He spun her around as she giggled loudly. Then he threw onto the bed and jumped on after and pulled the sheets over them. "I detective pleasant would like to investigate you miss Cain. Am I allowed entry?" He asked in a hushed voice. Valkyrie bit her lower lip and nodded. She leaned closer to him so that her breasts were on his chest. Skulduggery smirked and set to work.
