Oh my god I've got more than 500 reads on this story. That is crazy. So for the special occasion this is a story about Valkyrie and skulduggery.

The girl in red stormed down the corridor and into the medical bay "I hate him!" She cried as she sat down on a bed. Kenspeckle looked over to her and smiled "I'm sure that isn't true my dear" he said as he came over to her. "Well it is!" She huffed as she pulled down her hood to show her ginger hair and gleaming green eyes. "What did he do this time?" He asked as he went over to his computer and started writing an email. "He's grounding me for setting a table on fire while in class even though I said it wasn't me" she said. "Well did you set the table on fire?" Kenspeckle asked as he turned to her. "No... Yes... But still! He should believe me for once!" She growled.

A boy in black walked through the door and sighed when he saw Scarlett. "There you are! Dad is pissed!" He said as he walked over to her. "Why should I care?" Scarlett asked as the boy sat next to her. He had dark hair but the same green eyes as his sister. "Sam he's driving me insane!" She said. Sam shook his head "well thanks to you he started yelling at me for not keeping you in check!"

At that moment skulduggery walked into the medical bay and Scarlett growled "what do you want now?" She snapped. Skulduggery walked over to her and sighed "we are going home young lady" he ordered. "But dad! I didn't do anything!" She argued. Skulduggery crossed his arms "now Scarlett!" He said harshly. Scarlett glared and stormed out of the room with Sam not far behind.

When they got home Scarlett ran into the sitting room and hugged her mum. "You ok?" She asked. Scarlett shook her head "dad grounded me!" She muttered. Her mother frowned "why?" She asked. "Because she set fire to a table in school" skulduggery said walking into the sitting room. Valkyrie stood up and walked over to him "Skully come on, no one got hurt did they?" She asked as she rapped her arms around his waist. "No but still" he started but she cut in "but still, nothing. It's fine. Scarlett you're ungrounded" Valkyrie said turning to Scarlett. Scarlett beaming "thanks mum!" She said and ran up to her room. Skulduggery just stood there with the his jaw open slightly. "What? Is Mr pleasant sulking?" She asked with a sassy tone.

Skulduggery looked down at her "how dare you. I am the man of the house" he said. "What you gonna do about it?" Valkyrie asked and skulduggery kissed her. "That" he said.
