Saracen moaned and sat up and looked around him. "Hello?" He asked and then heard a moan from his left. "Dexter!" He cried and crawled over to his best friend. Dexter sat up and rubbed his head "that was a big explosion" he muttered and looked over to the now relieved Saracen. "You ok?" Dexter asked and Saracen nodded and helped him up. "You scared me" Saracen said and hugged Dexter close to him.
Dexter chuckled and hugged back "you can't get rid of my that easily" he whispered. Saracen shivered and stepped back. But Dexter grabbed his waist and brought him back "don't run away from me rue! I know you love me!" Dexter teased. Saracen blushed and stuttered "how did you..." Was all he could say before Dexter kissed him. (IM SORRY I JUST HAD TO DO IT!) Saracen kissed back and then stepped away beaming.
"We have to find the others" Dexter said and Saracen nodded and they walked out onto the path. All around them was death and destruction but they soldiered through it. "Where are they?" Saracen fussed while searching all of the dead mages but not finding their companions.
"I'll take you to them" said a voice from behind them. They turned slowly to see darquesse grinning at them "let's go" she said. With one swift movement of her hand the men flew into the sky.
