Skulduggery walked over to Valkyrie who was leaning on the wall outside of the meeting room. "Valkyrie? Can we talk?" He asked. Valkyrie looked over to him and nodded. He started walking and she followed slowly. They walked into a non-occupied room. "How are you feeling?" He asked after she closed the door. "About what?" Valkyrie asked nervously.  "About what happened a few days ago?" He asked taking a step closer to her. Valkyrie frowned "I'm sorry. I must of forgotten what happened. Can you enlighten me?"
"About the baby?"
"What! A baby?"
"Yeah. Valkyrie how could you have forgotten"
"I'm sorry but I don't know what you mean"
"I know you don't" he said coldly. Valkyrie shrunk back "what do you mean?" She asked. "What are you doing outside of the mirror?" he growled. Valkyrie gasped and put her hands over her mouth. Skulduggery lunged at her and grabbed her by the jacket. "Where is she!" He roared. The reflection whimpering "I won't tell you!" She cried. Skulduggery lifted her off of the floor and she squealed "she's at Gordon's estate!" She cried. Skulduggery sighed and threw her against the wall.

Skulduggery sat in the front of the van as ravel, Dexter, Fletcher and the shackled reflection sat in the back. Ghastly drove out of roarhaven and down the road that lead to the estate. "Who's there with her?" Asked skulduggery to the reflection. "Billy-ray" she mumbled to him. "If he hurts her you and the prick are going to die" skulduggery said and ghastly shook his head. "No skul. They are going to jail not to hell" he said as he pulled up on to the drive way.

The group climbed out of the car. Skulduggery lead the way as they walked into the house. At once they heard grunts and curses. They made their way up to the second floor and then snuck around the corner to where the noises where coming from.

They turned the corner to see billy-ray on the ground and Valkyrie kicking him in the head. When his body went limp she sighed "pervert!" She mumbled. She rapped her arms around herself to try to cover her but you could still see most of her. "Uh-hmm?" Coughed skulduggery. Valkyrie turned and looked at the group. When she saw the guys staring at her in just her underwear she blushed. Skulduggery ran over and took of his jacket and held it to cover her from the other guys. "Guys stop staring at her" he grumbled as she looked down at herself. The men snapped out of it and turned around. Skulduggery looked down at her cuts and shoulder. "You finally noticed it wasn't me" she said and slipped the jacket on. It only fell to her waist and she had to do up the buttons to hide herself. But it was better than just standing around in her underwear so she didn't mind too much. Skulduggery cupped one of her cheeks and examined her bruised left eye and the cut on her right cheek. "You look like a mess" he said softly. Valkyrie smiled "I'll take that as a complement" she whispered and kissed his teeth. He brought his hands around her waist and pulled her closer.

When they parted Valkyrie wiped her blood from his jaw and smiled "can we go now. I'm cold" she said. Skulduggery nodded and stepped out of the way so she could go first. She began to walk towards the others when she spotted her reflection. Valkyrie glared and dived at her and punched her in the nose. The reflection staggered and fell on her butt. Valkyrie then kicked her in the chin and the reflection went limp. "You bitch!" Valkyrie growled and walked past the reflection. But then she stopped and looked down at it "she's wearing my clothes!" Valkyrie snapped and looked up to skulduggery. "How dare you let her wear my clothes" she said. Skulduggery shrugged "I didn't know it wasn't you until a couple hours ago" he replied. "Fine. Let's go. I'm tired, cold, hungry, dirty and wounded" she said and walked down the stairs.
