"No magic? At all?" Tanith asked. Valkyrie smiled a sad smile and shook her head. "So what's going to happen?" She asked worried. "I don't know. I can't pretect myself anymore. I might need to quit. Skulduggery needs a partner who can fight back" Valkyrie said and sat on the bed next to tanith. "Of course I do" skulduggery said as he walked into the room. "Does that mean you're going to find a new partner?" She asked slowly. "Well I'm going to have to aren't I?" He said and put his hands in his pockets. Valkyries heart sank and she stood up shakily "really?" She asked and skulduggery strode forward and slapped her "so be so stupid! We'll work something out" he said and Valkyrie sighed and hugged him "you scared me" she said. The skeleton chuckled "I know" he said.
