not strong enough

Valkyrie stood on the roof of a building and let her hair fly in front of her face. "Let me out. Let me out. Let me out. Let me out. Let me out.  Let me out. Let me out! LET ME OUT!" Roared the voices in her head. "Valkyrie?" Asked skulduggery from behind her. She turned to him and shook her head "I'm sorry" she whispered and jumped of off the building. Skulduggery ran to the edge to see Valkyrie shoot up into the sky. Darquesse grinned at him and flew away into the sky. "NO!" He roared and fell to his knees.

Skulduggery stormed through the corridors of the sanctuary down the Ravel's office and burst through the door. "Skulduggery? What's wrong?" Asked ghastly. Skulduggery tightened his fist's "she's gone. Darquesse has risen" he said softly. A little too softly. "Oh god" said ravel putting his face in his hands. "Where did she go?" Asked ghastly. Skulduggery shrugged and went quiet. Everyone knew when skulduggery pleasant, the skeleton detective, went quiet it wasn't a good sign. Ghastly walked up to his best friend and put a hand on his shoulder "we'll get her back. For now we will just have to call a meeting to tell everyone about what's happening. Then we wait until someone see's her and we save her. That's our plan" he said and brought skulduggery into a hug that he gladly accepted and held on tight.

"Oh god! Valkyrie!" Tanith bawled into the crook of ghastly 's shoulder. "She never did anything wrong! She doesn't deserve this!" She cried and ghastly nodded his head and rubbed her back. The rest of the room were either stunned, scared, angry or already knew about Valkyrie being darquesse. Skulduggery stood leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and unmoving. Fletcher sat at the table with his head on the table and his arms over his head. He was shaking his head and cursing quietly to himself. "We have to stop her. You've all heard what the sensitivities have seen. The visions they've seen about darquesse taking over the world. We can change that future. We just need your help. Any volunteers?" Asked ravel. Skulduggery raised his hand but no one else did.

"What is wrong with you people? You stick by Valkyries side. You're her best friends, but then you hear something bad about her and cower away! I'm going to save her because I love her. until the end. She saved my life and I save hers, that's how we work but it seems like it isn't how the rest of you are. You're a bunch of cowards!" Skulduggery whispered harshly.

Tanith, Ghastly, Fletcher, Ravel, Dexter, Saracen, Anton, China, Donegan and Gracious then raised their hands. "She's little a sister to me" tanith said.
"She's like a daughter to me" said ghastly.
"She was my first girlfriend and a great friend" Fletcher said.
"She's an amazing person to be around" ravel said.
"She's a fellow dead man" Dexter said.
"She's been there for us" Saracen said.
"She makes us laugh" Anton said.
"She's special" said China.
"She's a big fan of ours and we are a big fan of her" said the monster Hunters. (Omg! The cheesiness right now! Sorry!)

Skulduggery nodded and stepped forward "let's get to work! We have a war coming our way" he said and everyone nodded and set to work.
