Valkyrie ran painfully slow to the sanctuary building and paused when she saw the damage. "Please be ok" she said to herself and then entered the building.

She walked into the foyer and looked around at the damaged walls and dead bodies. She scanned the bodies for someone she might know but couldn't and sighed. "AAAAHHHH!" Screamed tanith from somewhere in the building. "Tanith!" Valkyrie strained as she was starting to feel even worse. "Save everyone then rest" she snapped to herself and began searching the deserted corridor's.

Valkyrie walked up to a corner but faltered when she heard voices. "You'll never win!" Tanith snapped. A laugh that sounded like Valkyries erupted into the air "let's see about that shall we?" Asked darquesse and Valkyrie burst around the corner and shot black lightning from her palm. But because she had never done it before it missed so she tried again. This time she hit her target "Valkyrie! Feeling better?" Darquesse asked with a smile. "No even close. But you know me, I can't just sit around and let my friends die" Valkyrie glared. "Valkyrie! Run!" Tanith cried but Valkyrie shook her head and shot another palm full of lightning at darquesse.

Darquesse went stumbling and laughed "I see you've learned a new trick" she said and pushed at the air and Valkyrie went flying back to the wall behind her. She hit it and fell down with a whimper. "Valkyrie!" Skulduggery cried as he sprinted down the corridor and over to the crumpled heap. "What are you doing here? I told you to stay home!" He said coldly and then turned soft and helped her up on to wobbly legs. "I never do what I'm told. Remember?" She asked and gave a weak smile. "How cute" darquesse stated and then sent skulduggery flying down the corridor he had just run down.

"Don't touch him!" Valkyrie roared and held out both her hands and took a deep breath. She closed her eyes and concentrated on the anger and used it as a source to power her strength. She gritted her teeth and snapped her Palms and twin lightning bolts slammed into darquesse's chest. Darquesse gasped as she was winded and fell back. "That's some powerful magic you have there. Good thing I've got the thing I came for. Bye for now" she managed to say and a hand came out of the floor and grabbed her. She sunk into the floor and after waiting to make sure she wasn't going to pop back up skulduggery ran over to Valkyrie and crouched in front of her. "I told you to stay home!"
"But I helped!"
"You could have been killed"
"But I wasn't"
"You've got to stop running into situations that are way too dangerous for you. Valkyrie you are still very ill and weak"
"I'm not weak"
"That's not what I meant and you know that"
"I feel really light headed"
"You want me to catch you?"
"If you wouldn't mind" Valkyrie said and then collapsed into the skeleton arms and didn't move. "We've got to get her to kenspeckle" he ordered to tanith and she nodded.
