Chapter 33

The yacht rocked along the small waves of the water as the people aboard looked out in bliss. A month was a long time for them to settle back into the groove of unity. A month of cordialness and happiness. A month of new relationships and new bonds.

Giselle smiled as she looked out into the water. The moon's reflection causing her to smile. She tilted the glass of champagne up to her lips before taking a slow sip. Her hair blowed from the wind.

"It's beautiful," she spoke out at the sense that someone had approached her from behind. She didn't bother to turn around, because she knew the person would soon come join her along the rail.

Beyoncé smiled behind her sister and walked next to her. She placed her hand along the rail and looked out into the water. She recalled her first yacht trip and how the water at night was the most beautiful thing she had ever witnessed. The fact that it was peaceful and no one could both her gave her a sense of peace.

"It is," she replied. "But I don't want you to spend your entire night here."

Giselle looked over to her twin and smirked a bit. At the moment, people could finally tell the difference between them. It wasn't because they shared different glows, because their glows were practically the same. It wasn't because they looked different without makeup. It was because Beyoncé had decided that she no longer wanted long hair. She had cut half of her hair off and decided that short was perfect for her.

"You really think I'm going to remain here for the entire night?" Giselle asked.

"Actually, I don't. I've already talked to Milan."

At the mention of his name, Giselle turned around. He was engulfed in a conversation with Shawn. She could tell that he was thoroughly enjoying the conversation, but he could feel someone watching him. His eyes tore from the man before him to the woman that he'd grown to adore.

"About what?" Giselle's eyes narrowed at her sister. It was like being in high school and having a boyfriend. Giselle remembered the times when she'd mention a boy a boy's name and Bey would make it her mission to find a way to talk to him.

Bey giggled. "Oh, nothing, Giselle."

"Beyoncé."

Beyoncé laughed softly and moved away from her sister. "You sound like my mother. I'm just saying that you're going to have a great time tonight."

Giselle rolled her eyes before downing the rest of the champagne. "Sure."

"Besides, you never really told me how the two of you even got together." It had been puzzling to her how Milan had been introduced as a friend, but turned into a boyfriend quick. She loved seeing her sister happy, but she also wanted to make sure that everything was going great.

Gis smirked as she recalled her last night in Los Angeles a month ago. "Well, Milan was mad at me after I left Ryan's parents house."

"Why?"

"Because I told him I was going to Ryan's house to talk to him. With the revelation that Ryan wasn't the father, I guess he felt that I was going to..."

"Fuck him?" Beyoncé answered for her.

Giselle laughed. "Not necessarily, but be open to getting back together. When I left Ryan's house, I didn't even go back to the hotel. I went to Shawn's house."

Beyoncé thought about it and smirked. She couldn't imagine the thoughts running through Milan's head as he sat in the hotel room waiting for her to come back. It was nighttime before she even left Shawn's house and she didn't seem to be in any type of rush.
