A Surprise at A Christmas Midnight (Chapter 19)

Time: Christmas Eve, 11.00 a.m.

(y/n)'s POV
"Miss! You awake?" Obi went in from my opened window.
"Yeah!" I answered.
"Oh! Don't forget that today there'll be a party at the castle. The one that participate will be the one that lives here in Clarines," Obi reminded me.
"Kay'," I answered.
"Are you sure, Miss? You're a forgetful person so, I'm worried," Obi teased me.
"Ehh? What do you mean by that?" I answered.
"Oh! You need to do work and stuffs," Obi said.
"Eh? Work? It's not paper work right?" I asked.
I really really hate paper work.
"Well, I asked Master not to give you paper work, but..."
"But?" I asked.

"Obi!" Zen-chan called Obi outside from my door.
Obi instantly hide behind me.
Zen-chan opened the door.
"You can at least knock, Zen-chan," I said.
"You'll be doing paper work, now," Zen-chan said.
"Wait, what?!" I exclaimed.
"No! I don't wanna!" I ran out of the window followed by Obi.
"You two are not going to run away this time! Mitsuhide, Kiki!" Zen shouted from my room.
"Got it, Zen!" Mitsuhide and Kiki blocked the exit.

Then, we're caught by the two scary loyal people to Zen-chan.
"Nooooo! Lemme go!" I exclaimed while being dragged off by Zen-chan.
"Kiki-san.. Mitsuhide-san.. Can you let me go?" Obi plead while being dragged off by Ki-chan and Mitsu-chi.
"Are you kidding me?!" Mitsuhide exclaimed.
Then, we're seperated doing different work.

Timeskip (20.00 p.m.)
Erghhhh... I'm tired.. I wanna play outside.
"Hurry up and do your work, (y/n)," Zen-chan said.
"Okay, okay, jeez.." I said and continued doing the piles of paper work.
"It's your own fault, (y/n). That incident that happened needs further information. You're the one that-"
"Okay, Zen-chan. Jeez, don't be mad," I answered.
This so boring... Ah! Let's run away! That'll be a perfect solution!
"Don't even think about running away now," Zen-chan said.
Wh-Wha?! How did he even know?!!
"Of course not!" I answered while my eye twitching.
"Oh really? Well, even though you try to run away, you'll fail anyway," Zen-chan smirked.
"Hehhh... I see.." I answered.
"Zen-chan, I'm bored. Can I go play at the town," I plead.
"No, do your work," Zen-chan answered.
"You're not going to the party?" I asked.
"The party will start at 22.30," Zen-chan answered.

Timeskip (22.15)
"That's it! I'm tired! I need to-"
"Miss~ I'm here to pick you up~" Obi went in from the opened window.
"Obi!" I exclaimed happily.
"How can you-" Zen asked.
"Run away, of course," Obi answered easily.
"Then, I'll be taking Miss now~" Obi said.
Then, Obi carried me bridestyle. I blushed madly, so I hide my face.
Then, we arrived at the town. Obi put me down.
"Thank you, Obi," I smiled gratefully.
"Y-yeah. Your welcome, Miss," Obi answered looking away.

Obi's POV
I blushed, so I look away.
Her smile... It really brighten my day.

"It seems that we're fine for now, Miss," I said.
"Let's take a break now," I said and grabbed my hand.
"Hm!" Mistress answered.

(y/n)'s POV
At a cafe...
"Miss,"
"Ya?" I answered while eating the parfait.
"What kind of boy do you like?" Obi asked.
I suddenly choked by the ice cream I ate.
"Wh-What's with the sudden question?" I asked blushing.
"Just curious~" Obi smirked.
"Well... I don't really... Umm.. So.. Likee... Umm.. I just like that person somehow. Not with type," I answered.
"Hehhh~" Obi smirked.
"Then, how about you?" I smirked.
Obi blushed.
"Ohhh! Who is she, who is she?" I asked teasing him.
"Of course I can't tell you, Miss. Well, her smile brighten my day. She's funny, especially her expression. She's sometimes a tsundere, and that's cute. Ehehe.. Well, she's like a light. She accepted me to be who I really am.." Obi smiled.
"Hehh... That girl seems wonderful," I answered.
Even though I want to be the girl that Obi likes...
"Miss, today is Christmas Eve, right?"
"Yup! Oh yeah, you said that we'll go to the town on Christmas. But today is Christmas Eve. The schedule moves forward, then," I said.
"Oh at the center of the town, the lights at the christmas tree will be turned on this midnight," Obi said.
"There'll be many people there," Obi continued.
"Really?! That'll be awesome! Then, let's go there!" I said excited.

Timeskip (23.59 p.m.)
Obi's POV
"1 more minute, Obi! I can't wait!" Mistress smiled.
"Yeah," I blushed a little.
Then, everyone shouted.
"5!"
"4!"
"3!"
"2!"
"1!"
Then, all the lights at the christmas tree are turned on.
"Wow! It's pretty!" Mistress exclaimed, her eyes shining.
I hold her hand.
"Obi?"
"Miss, I have a surprise for you," I said.
I took out a gift box from my pocket.
I gave it to Mistress.
"Can I open it?" Mistress asked.
"Yeah, sure Miss," I smiled.
Mistress opened the gift.
A (shape that you want or anything) pendant can be seen.
"It's beautiful! Thank you, Obi!" Mistress exclaimed happily.
"Oh! I have a gift for you too!" Mistress exclaimed.
Mistress gave me a wrapped box.
I opened the box.
It's a knife with carves on the silver grip.
"It's beautiful," I smiled.
"Really? Phew, that's great!" Mistress exclaimed.
Then, I put on the necklace on Mistress's neck.
"Merry Christmas, Miss," I smiled.
"Merry Christmas to you too, Obi!" Mistress exclaimed happily.

I put my face closer to Mistress's face..
"Obi?"
No, I think it's not the right time.. I'll do it when she's ready.
"No, Miss. There's an ink at your cheek," I smirked.
"Eh, really?!" Mistress exclaimed.
"Yup, really~" I smirked.

Zen's POV
When they're back, I'll work them to death!

Unknown's POV
I stand on a tree branch and found her.
Found you, Little Sister. I won't forgive you! I will never forgive you! You're the one that make Mom died!
